Remove GT1 and go with just LMP and GTE(GT2) or leave as is?

If monza is tonight I probably won't be in attendance. I think it is best if you place me on reserves or remove me from this series, I've got a lot of things coming up soon, and I don't think I'll have the time for an endurance series.

Corvette Z06RM - 500 - 1275 - None
Corvette ZR1RM - 500 - 1275 - None
Audi R8 LMS - 490 - 1300 - None
Nissan 350Z - 540 - 1275 - -10hp
Zonda LM - 500 - 1300 - -25kg
BMW M3 GTR - 500 - 1250 - None
Diablo GT-1 - 475 - 1300 - +25hp -50kg

The Diablo was already running with the extra hp at the race but this is just making it official. That thing needs alot of weight off for TT13 to keep up so it'll now be 500hp/1250kg for TT13.

Now on to the race, was great fun for the 6 that showed up. Piss poor turn out but hey I get that its hard sometimes to make a race during the week. Dont sweat it if you didnt make it for the race as the season races will be on Saturdays.
There was a bit of a mess at the start with marls stopping on the grid causing mass confusion but it ended up going thru smoothly enough. The first chicane caused a bit of a moment for the GTE field of 4, I caught grass and got a bit sideways and the rest of the field had a mix up....caused damage to a couple of us.
After that it was consistent mode for me atleast and I got up to first by pushing the tires until about lap 25-26 (having pit on lap 2-3) and was only taken out of the lead from a lapse in concentration putting me into the wall and I then also hit lilcat which took him from the lead of LMP...super sorry about that man. I did hang on for second, I think freshseth was on bad tires or damaged (sure he can clean it up for me) and I got past him in the draft and pushed on.

Good race to Tissimo, class winner for GTE and our late newcomer marly who won LMP. Lets roll on to Nurburgring GP/D!
 
Yep. Interesting. Wish I wouldn't have wrecked out of the race that early, as I caught a few GT drafts with a potential to pass (though a few laps behind at that point). It seemed to be the weight in corners that was keeping me back mostly. We'll see how it goes this time around :).

I can't imagine how it feels to be a real race car driver and have all that preparation go down the drain.

PS Mitch my wreck was separate from yours as far as I can tell. Seemed to be caused by a very minor slip off of two tires that created a major spin into the wall. My chassis/suspension was so badly damaged I couldn't even stay on track for that lap over 40-50mph. An absolute mess of a race for me.

Was a good race, can't wait to have a full field! Looking forward to some curves too, Monza with no chicanes was pretty boring.

Guys one thing I'm noticing is the messes we're getting at the first corner with people trying to pass, its at the point already where its completely stupid. From now on I would like the contact at the first corner to stop and theres one way to do that, either enforce a rule whereby there is no passing for the first 2 corners or everyone just gets more careful.
I dont want a rule like that so I'm hoping the contact can stop...(yes I know I had a pretty dumb moment at the first chicane at Monza and it was more a wheel in the grass thing than fighting for position but I should've been more careful....)
