Hey guys, I was messing around with my racers at La Sarthe, but then I got the idea to make them limited via horsepower.
I limited all my LMP cars at 750 HP, and see if they are all equal in speed.
To my surprise, the Pescarolo Hybrid, one of the faster cars unrestricted, conks out at 226 mph.
The Audi R8 (both 01 and 05) reach 228 mph.
The LMR posted 227 mph.
But what's surprising is that the closed prototypes (I included the CLK LM also since it was a quasi prototype) ran faster speeds, even if they had more weight.
The top was the usual suspect, the Toyota GT-One climbing to 233 mph with signs that it can reach beyond 240 mph.
Then came the Bentley at 231 mph.
The Peugeot 908 was 229 mph (The torque numbers don't justify this speed.),
The CLK LM though is the second biggest shocker posting 228 mph while carrying more weight (100 KG).
The numbers I got led me to think: Does GT5 replicate wind resistance? Because in reality closed cockpit prototypes tend to have advantage in speed due to less drag, and my game is so far leading me to that...
Or am I way over my head?
