Loaning cars?

On update 1.06, I can remember it telling me that I can loan cars. How do I loan cars? Sorry for my stupidity.

Go to your garage and you can press the triangle button, and then go to share online. You can also do this when viewing the car itself, right next to Add To Favorites. You can share up to five cars doing so.

Up to six cars.

Then your friends can click on your info and select 'borrow' to use car.

I would like to loan some cars to my son when I'm not playing, but I don't always have or want my PS3 hooked up to the internet (especially when he's playing).
