Ok so basically I got the update on Wendesday (the one that introduced the login bonuses) and everyday including Wednesday I would go on then exit the game and turn off my ps3. It was all going well I did the same yesterday and then I go to do the same today (the 4th day) and it was reset back to day 1. (110%) Has anyone else experienced the same? And does anyone know what I may have done wrong?

You need to make sure the game saves every time you do it. So when you login, accept the bonus, then go to your garage and change cars. This will make it save a second time, but it actually saves properly. The first time it says Saving after you get the bonus doesn't seem to actually save. So either manually save from the Start menu, or make it autosave by switching cars, doing a race etc.

Oh alright thanks. It's just going to be pain waiting another five days to maximize my earnings. Oh well. Thanks again.

After three days of the sign in bonus, today GT6 reset back to day one. I have two PS3's and both systems lost the three days. GT5 did not reset, so it was not my system, but the game.

Ya thats exactly what happened to me. I don't know try doing what that other guy told me to do, manually save to make sure you get the bonus

Yeah, I started doing a manual save on that after getting just a listed 110% 3 days in a row.

Well glad to know I'm not the only one. Oh and also I'm new to these forums, so I'm wondering if you know how to close or end this thread since I got my question answered or do I just leave this here for others who are having the same problem?

You don't need to do anything. The topic will be available for further discussion and the information will be available for those that search the forum or the internet. That is the beauty of forums!

If you really want to close the topic just leave the info as is (so others can find it) and PM a mod or admin and they will close it for you.

Here is the method for changing the time zone to get the 200% login bonus. As posted in another thread of a similar name:

1. Enter the game normally, receive the 110% bonus.
2. Save the game by changing into a different car and letting the game save automatically after.
3. Open the XMB, go to Time and Date Settings under Settings far left before Users, this will need the game to quit.
4. Go to Time Zone. Change this so that wherever you are your PS3 clock will show just before midnight.
5. Enter the game, wait until past midnight, accept the next bonus, repeat steps 2-5 again until you're at 200%.

Some time zones are in half hours and quarter hours, so that will speed things up even more.

Thank you works perfect

Was looking forward to getting my 200% bonus today but it went backwards to 150%!

Edit, regarding the time zone glitch, i can't see any countries that have quarter or half hour differences?

Today when I log in, it should be the 5th consecutive day i.e. 200% login bonus.

Fingers crossed as some people are having glitches.

Thanks for posting this, I thought I was going insane seeing it go backwards lol

I log in every day but I'll make sure it saves properly from now on.

Cheers!

Those who are going backwards in the log in bonus, there must be something differently being done?

Playing a game or just logging in & off.

If not then this is a glitch for sure.

It happened to me and others in GT5 and it doesn't surprise me that is it happening in GT6.

They need to do away with the login bonus as it only punishes those that can't play everyday. It is not fair and not the best way to treat paying customers. If they want to give bonuses reward those that use lower pp cars than the competition in all races.

I was never aware that this issue was prominent in GT5. I never faced it even once.

I logged in today & because I took part in a race yesterday, today my login remained constant at 200%.

I had it a lot on my 2nd account. Most of the time I would just log in to keep my bonus up. If I missed one day and log on the next the bonus would go down and keep going down despite logging in. I would even make it a point to go to my garage or online or used dealership as I believe I read that in a suggestion.

Frustratingly I powered up my PS3 just to log into GT6 the last 2 nights and my bonus is at now 170% down from 200%. I even saved my game manually the night before.

I believe my PS3 is going to stay off for a while as I'm really frustrated with GT6, PD's decisions and incompetency. 1/2 my friends are playing other games despite owning GT6 :(.

Lost my GT6 AND GT5 login bonus and i'd done the manual save too, infuriating as I have some big races to do so want to maximise earning and now I have to wait another 5 days, that's if it actually gets there without losing the bonus again :@

....Same for me, i have been using the game since Decemver 25th, i have logged in every day but today (this morning) i'm on 110%
My game crashed this evening, sent the crash report to Sony.
Up to now i'm less than impressed to be honest. The game is not anywhere near as complerte as GT5 was when it went to (on) sale.
:(

Just for everyone having the login bonus reducing, are you letting the game save properly before quitting? I've not run into it yet, my bonus has just stayed at 200% since I got it but I've been doing quite a few races each day.

Hi,
I just logged in again after saving the game manually yesterday and the day before and i now have 170% rewards etc. It looks as though i didn't save thye game. In GT5 i am thinking i didn't need to do this, however maybe i do in GT6?

My login bonus has been going backwards four the last three days...what b.s. is this another ploy by PD to keep you from earning money so you have to pay to play?
