Login bonus

does anyone know since they are disconnecting gt5 from the servers,will we still get our login bonus ?
i know this is a weird question,but i wasn't sure what kaz's plans were for the gt5 gamers.

I would assume not. You only get it whe you're signed into PSN. GT5 is almost dead, look into getting GT6!

As the seasonals and such will still be accessible, then why not the login bonus?

From the News page:

“Other Gran Turismo 5 online services” refers to website services, such as B-Spec Remote Race, not in-game online services such as Seasonal Events or Multiplayer"

There are still copies of GT5 being sold, so I think it will be around for a while as an online facility - it's just the photo sharing bit which randomly selects from all favourite pics flagged on each player's account that has enabled the option.

Actually I would expect GT5 to continue to work as always for a while I would say at least 6 months maybe a year, possibly longer.

Of course the login bonus never meant much to me anyway so even if I were to continue playing GT5 and they killed the bonus it would not be a big deal.

Based on the fact that you can (or at least could in the past) spoof the bonus by changing date/time settings on your PS3 my guess is that it "should" work based off of a PSN login.

I don't really like to guess due to being wrong, but I'm going to guess that there maybe be a login bonus in GT6. Even though it won't be a bad thing if it's removed, it will suck if it isn't there. It really encourages the player to keep playing, and that's what I (and probably others) like.

I'll be surprised if GT6 doesn't copy and paste all the things that work well in GT5.
