Can people tell me if it is worth the 100 bucks for the wheel? In a skyline r34 with over 1000hps I can drift all up an down tracks, but with a 240sx with around 400 I think I can keep it on the track an side ways only alittle I feel like the controller is inhibiting my proformance, do you all agree an should i go out an buy this wheel?

i use a PS1 controller and drift 330hp 300ZXs. it isn't the controller..its your skill. anyone in this room can drift a 1000hp skyline, that requires no skill. but when you start to use more realistic configurations, you'll see where you lack.

not really...the blue wheel is really buggy
1. you can't shift gears when ur turning the wheel all the way to the left or right
2. the brakes only use 75% in game

I couldn't AGREE more with TingBoy :
:D Do yourself a favor and get a MOMO. NOT that much more money but a WORLD of improvement over the "Blue" Logitec Wheel. Shift whenever you feel like it, VERY Solid Feel & 100% Braking. I tried my old Blue wheel recently after a few months w/MOMO & couldn't believe how bad it felt. JMO ...UB57
:D

The shifting bug doesnt bother me because I shift before corners and the braking bug is hardly notiseable. But its true that the MOMO wheel is better quality... If I were to buy a wheel now, I would go for the MOMO. However it might not be as compatible with other games as the Driving Force.

Listen to this guy ;)

I bought the driving force a couple weeks ago and I only have problems braking, the shifting works perfecly. I do find the braking noticible though because if you brake when the recomended gear starts flashing, you can't make the turn so you have to brake earlier then when it flashes.

Never tried the MOMO but aren't the newer ones not compatible with ps2?

They are, but not with every single racing game I think...it would be good if the Momo's became compatible with every new racing game that comes out...:irked:
