I picked up a Logitech Cordless 2.4GHz controller the other day and I must say I'm really impressed with it. It's alot larger than a regular PS2 controller but it's formed to fit your hand so if you have big hands (like me) it should be alot more comfortable. The buttons also seem to be more sensative than the regular controller which helps alot in GT4 since I don't have space for a wheel. The D-Pad is actually a circle and works more like the joystick since you can use angles. You can even change the level of vibration you want. The downside is there is no grip on the top of the joysticks, however there is a tip to put your thumb in and it holds pretty well, that and it takes 4 AA batteries. It comes with 4 duracell batteries and a reciever with ~2.5' long cable so you can tuck the PS2 away and have the reciever out to get a better signal. I haven't noticed any delay yet and the signal is strong enough I can use the controller from a different room (not that anyone would ever do that). I highly reccomend this for anyone looking into cordless controllers.
