Have any members got any videos, explaining about & them using the new gt wheel.
I was thinking of buying one, when they are on sale in the u.k.
Is the wheel a lot better than the pro that is out now,& worth the extra cash.
At the moment i use a pad,so it will be my first wheel.

SRT Review

This should be helpful, have no idea if there are reviews by GTP users but there are some in this forum that have it and I for one really like it, though I have nothing to compare it to since it's my first wheel.

EDIT: Dunno if it's just me but I dont see the vid so here are the links.

Part2

EDIT: Kikie posted the vids properly so I took them out to save some space :).

RumbleRider, I have had the DF GT for about 5 weeks now. You can't go wrong with it if you want to increase your enjoyment of the game. It may not necessarily improve your times straight away, so don't expect too much in that respect. I have had to put in a lot of practice to get my times back to where I was with the 6Axis. But the practice is fun so it's no biggy.
There are quite a few threads here on the DF GT if you care to search and there is also a lot of info in the Wheels forum. 👍

man thats the nerdiest/geekiest voice ive ever heard

... I love the shows... Its only show that shows you whats new in SIM racing and as well BIG online racing.
Show some respect. :ouch::grumpy::irked:🤬👎

Thanks a lot for your help, just pre-ordered one & cant wait for it to arrive.
As you say it will very likely take me ages to master,as i have been using a pad since GT2.:)

Hi Rumblerider, I just got mine last week. It'll definitely get you hooked and make you wonder why you haven't bought one in the first place. Immediately you'll notice that you're faster around the curves and maintain a higher more consistent speed. The only trouble I had at first are the corners that require alot of wheel turning left to right. An example of this would be turn 10-11 at Fuji. Another problem I have is recovering from spin outs whereas the wheel turns and could be very disorienting - not an issue when using 6axis. Just like anything it just takes a little bit to get used to. The force feedback on this is simply amazing!

I love mine, but I have to agree with you - sharp turns where you turn the wheel waaaaayyyyy over can be really hard to come out of. If you're not careful, you end up zig-zagging all over the place and hitting the walls. You have to get the hang of letting the wheel re-center itself at the right rate, letting it slip through your hands like in a real car.

i have just found this site but i am unsure about it, There is a live messenger option for support and help and i have asked one of the people on it about shipping charges and other fee's and the persons not being very helpful, they do ship to United Kingdom but i dont know how much it will be overall but im tempted to buy it as it's so cheap and apparently the courier will be free

I just got that and i'v just cancled my order, im not waiting that bloody long when i can get it from gamestop, i was speaking to the Tgrav represetative and he said theres been a distribution delay between Logitech themselves, They said that now they wont be getting the wheels directly from logitech and that logitech have made a deal with Sony to distrubute them that way so Tgrav are getting them through Sony near the end of the year, Bah It's rubbish i just want that damn wheel, i think i'll take my chances witH Gamestop.coms shipping it here, Does anyone know if they do ship here for the price they say of £88 delivered?
