Logitech EX problem

Hi everyone,

I have this wheel

And the wheel doesn't seem to align itself properly when the game starts. Its alligned on the ps3 menu but when I start the game it just turns very slightly to the right. It´s a older version (it was for ps2) and it has 2 connectors (ps2 port and USB). I just plug the usb and It worked with other games but with gt5 and gt5 prologue its always disaligned.

I may be not of appropriate help, but googling a bit gave me this:

Maybe this leads you somewhere? If it isn´t a hardware failure, maybe in combination with GT5(p) it shows these symptoms?

Happens the same with my G27, on PC and in the PS3 main menu it's perfectly centered but after the initial calibration when I start GT5 the wheel points a bit right.
Not a big problem in my case, the wheel works great... maybe it's just a problem with GT5 dead zone setting

Hi Yeah, mine sets up slightly off-centre when the game boots up

Just get to the main menu, give your wheel a full movement left then right, then centre it correctly

You won't have any problems in-game once you've done that

You have to do it every time you boot GT5 though, but its a very quick process

How much science there is in what I do is debatable, but it seems to work for me

I do this and it works for me. I have the Driving Force Wireless, which is probably one generation newer than the OP's. I pause in a A-Spec race, go full left, full right, and let it come back to center, then continue. Sometimes it goes off center if I spin out or do an accidental drift. I can do this online in a free run if there are no other cars around me, but once the race starts and the wheel goes off center, I am pretty much hosed.
