Rich,

Since you brought it up LOL.
What is the advantage of the McLaren wheel over the existing formula style rim that's currently out?

@LOGI_Rich
@Marky264 I think you can probably understand why the RS Formula Wheel was announced now, rather than when it's actually available. It's outside of our usual MO, but of course because it's part of the McLaren partnership it makes sense to tell people about it now. There won't be any confusion on where you can purchase it though - this is made by us so it will be available through the site.

@LOGI_Rich Completely get it, the scope and the word out early enough is all good, after all you want to have the partnership for as long as it can be renewed. I just pray and hope this is just the start of things for the deal as there’s so much potential, I think when Lando starting promoting the Logi G Pro years ago we all felt something was coming a lot sooner than it did. But listen at the end of the day we’re all passionate and want these products in our hands as soon as possible.

I personally would love to see a Scale Replica of an F1 Wheel/GT3 Wheel if you have any scope of feeding that back Rich it would be much appreciated! Will look forward to this in the meantime 🙂

@tinyman392 "rather close" has very different meanings for everyone! I’ve mentioned this elsewhere today but think of it in the context of people thinking that we only launch products once a year. We really don’t and it’s not going to be next September.

@Bob A the settings for various titles are on the support site.
Thanks Rich!

LOGI_Rich, The showcase was good and afterwords I placed an order for the PS version. The only option was the bundle which was $699 (I didn’t want a table mount and couldn’t find ps version in separates on the site so pretty disappointed on that and don’t understand why the bundle price was higher than the separates) the adapter was free as a bonus and the rs pedals were not available, however, a discount for the G Pro pedals was, so I ordered them, used a 5% discount code and a grand total of $1,011.01. Should arrive on a day or two so, Rich, do I need the adaptEr for the pro pedals and could you please recomend settings for the rs50 base/G Pro pedals and settings for GT7 on a ps5? Rich, thank you for all your help for so long you are much appreciated! Anyone want to buy a G 923? LOL
FYI: what a awesome purchase, moving up to the RS50 DD wheel and the G Pro load cell pedals (from G 27, 28, 29 then G923…) is a game changer, I only wish I had purchased the G Pro bundle on release, it’s, in my opinion, night and day and I highly recommend them!

@Marky264 Absolutely - it's passion that drives the feedback and we're here for that.

@Tommy moon the handle shape is definitely different and we've had feedback from various testers as we developed that shape, where they expressed a preference for the openness around the dials on the Wheel Hub.

@Bob A Glad you're enjoying it - you're here now, and that's all that matters.

In GT7, I’m experiencing heavy oscillation with the Gr.1 cars in this week’s daily C. Although the game settings are set to Max Torque 4 and Sensitivity 1, the torque readout on the straights is consistently 5nm+ just from the wheel shake. However, this torque value is also quite low, making it challenging to find the car’s limit consistently. Is there anything else to try?

Issue with GT7 specifically. Lowering feedback strength in game is really the only way to deal with it. Find a medium that allows you to still feel the grip but doesn’t create overpowering oscillations.

I think you can also mitigate it by increasing the dampening setting on the wheel. It's a compromise but it works.

Ran into it with this week's daily C too. I found I can almost eliminate the oscillations by providing a tiny bit of steering force, alternating left and right every 5 seconds or so. It actually results in hardly any weaving on the road. Not ideal or natural, but at least I didn't have to change any settings...

Joystick,

My joystick has always been a bit temperamental...mainly when trying to press down.

Never a big enough issue for me to report before...but it's gradually gotten worse and now it almost doesn't respond at all when pressing down.

Any advice on how to fix it...seems mechanical not connection...nothing else has an issue.

Try blowing a can of compressed air into the gap around the stick whilst slowing moving it through all of the positions.

@LOGI_Rich Can the G Pro wheel be used on the RS50 base? It's my understanding that the Pro pedals will plug in and work but what about the Pro wheel? Will it slide right on the RS50 steering shaft and latch/connect without any hub or adapter?
Thanks.

So I was having some issues with my thumb stick (stock wheel on 11nm DD).

I was also experiencing some odd feedback and alos clacking from what I thought was the spring inside the qr harness.

So I took off the wheel rotated the qr as Ive heard that helps...did wiped down the everything like recommended and slightly tightened the two black screws inside the neck from the base side.

Everything was working great for a couple days but now I'm getting some odd things like sometimes if I rotate the knob to change brake balance for example it pauses the game.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi all,

Running the Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals with PSVR2 on PS5 and been flawless since I bought it April 2024.

However, today for no reason the wheel has disconnected mid race numerous times, generally after 2 laps so 4 minutes or so. I’m going to update the firmware, but wanted to check if this is a known issue or others experienced similar?

I’ve read elsewhere this could be a usb-c cable issue to the console, but very random for it to occur as nothing has changed.

Appreciate any help or experience of others. Thanks.

Just a guess but is the wheel plugged into a multisocket? My T300 used to disconnect randomly whenever I had an electric fan heater plugged into the same multisocket. You'd think turning the heater on would immediately disconnect the wheel but it didn't always do it so it took a while to figure out.

Thanks, only a multi socket square straight into the wall that serves the PS5 as well but nothing else; set up that way since I bought it and never been a problem. Literally come out of nowhere. Thanks for the idea though, I’ll try it if the firmware doesn’t fix it as could be the socket square?

I’ve had mine do it, firmware up updated currently. However, I always chalked it up to DriveHub issues. Tends to happen after I’ve swapped wheels after a while.

Thanks, only thing that has ‘changed’ is I started using the track wheel after having the standard d wheel on there for a while (1 week) so maybe similar issue you’ve had. That’s why I would be surprised if it’s the firmware as it’s up to date as well.

Very unlikely I think. You could try giving it it's own dedicated wall socket but I doubt that's causing your problem

I had the same type of problem a while ago. I even asked for help here on the forum. But what really solved my problem was letting the steering wheel self-calibrate in a "long" way.

Before starting, I turn the wheel fully to the left, and when I start it, it slowly finds the center. Then I turn off the wheel, turn it all the way to the right until it stops, start it again, and let it find the center.

This method worked for me.

Now, after I play and turn everything off, I always leave the wheel turned fully to one side. I haven’t had any disconnection issues during a race since then.

The SimExpo is here. Still no H-shifter? The clutch pedal keeps collecting dust!

If there’s still no H-shifter coming, that’s honestly embarrassing – a real disappointment and almost an insult to those of us who’ve been using the G Pro for years.

You sell expensive pedals with a clutch, tease us with promises of great add-ons – and then deliver almost nothing.
The sequential gearbox is okay but I want the H-Shifter for the real experience.
And what about some realistic wheels - replicas ?

Dam, This aint compatible with PS? The PS chip is in the base is it not?
From my understanding the wheel must have at least one functional button on it to maintain PS-compatibility… the home button.

Though I feel like you’d need more. The first thing you do when you boot up the wheel is select user.

From what I’ve heard it’s not possible to use third party wheels on PS. To bad… I also am PS user.

Would be nice if someone here knows a trick or whatever to make it work.

Cheers
