Saw something on Best Buy’s website when seeing if they had the shifter in store or not. Not sure if it’ll actually get here when they say it will.

Meanwhile, over here in Brazil, Logitech has stated they don't even have a release window for the country. Unfortunately, many products don't even reach us. Only the bare basics of race sim are sold here. Check out the list of what they DON'T SELL in Brazil: 1) standalone base; 2) individual pedals; 3) any standalone wheel rims; 4) wheel hub; 5) RS QR adapter; 6) PRO spring set; 7) PRO brake elastomers.

Finally managed to get it ordered in the UK, main Logitech website. I'll finally have a handbrake and gears!

If you've any replacement USB cables to change my frayed pro wheel and pedals ones with, please chuck a couple in.

I was confused too so I’m curious if it’ll actually ship or not. Best Buy did give me a shipping number. FedEx is still waiting on the package though.

I cancelled my amazon backorder and ordered from Logitech when I saw it come back in stock. Now just got shipping/tracking confirmation.

The H shifter logistics are impressive. I also had good luck with my original Pro wheel package and then the RS Shifter delivery.

I have to say, I'm a little impressed. Both from Logitech and from me. ;-) Announced yesterday, today on my rig. Wooden board, black tape. So far I have only driven one race from the Power Pack in GT7 (Honda Civic) with VR2. That really makes you happy with the H Shifter. I drove manual transmissions for a long time in real life, maybe that helped. The changeover to braking with the right foot and coupling worked quite well. The shifter feels really good.

The sequential shifter also does well as a hand rest without a gear knob. It's already a bit close to the body, but it's still going. A matter of getting used to. I ordered a USB switch, with which I can hopefully switch between the two shifters at the push of a button. But I'm not sure yet if it works with the base and the PS5. Should come the next few days.

I picked up some 4x4 inch metal plates, I think I am just going to use them to clamp the two side by side on my mount. I really should look into a more modern rig but I dread taking mine apart and building a new one.

Oddly, the wheel I ordered last night, separately from the H-gate and wheel hub and a couple other things, shows shipped and has a Fedex tracking #. Logitech site indicates delivery today and waiting on the carrier to pick it up . The shifter, wheel hub and pedal spring set do not have any shipping indicators as yet, while 2 other items from that same order do. Weird stuff.

Well, I broke my order in 2 parts and it appears it will ship in 3-4 parts.

Wheel, Elastomer kit and those to die for socks are slated for delivery tomorrow. No shipment advisory yet for Shifter, Hub and spring set.

FedEx tends to set a date when the number is generated even if they don’t have a package. It’ll get rescheduled once they have something in hand.

A beautiful driving experience.
I feel like I've gained 2 new assets; the H shifter and a handbrake, since I never used the RS handbrake function in the past because it just felt odd to use a handbrake with a sequential shifter. No older car had a sequential shiftert, and very few newer cars with sequential shifter have old style handbrake mechanisms that lock the diff.

I'm having to rediscover the art of doing "handbrakies" - a skill from my teens, one at which I was quite adept.

Fore the benefit of other Playseat Trophy owners who have the older plate with only a few holes on the one side, I've attached some photos and can assure you that you will be able to comfortable install the H and the sequential/handbrake in a diagonal config.

You should remove the plate from your rig to install the 2 shifter boxes and screw them on securely with 4 x m6 bolts for each unit. Once both shifters are attached to the plate, then you can go ahead and attach the plate to the mounting arm that is already fitted to your Playseat Trophy.

I find this layout perfect - the H close to the wheel, and the handbrake behind and to the right, almost exactly how it would be in a real car.

A dream setup. Finally. Thanks to @LOGI_Rich and Logitech for making it happen.

@LOGI_Rich quick question. When the H-Shifter is plugged in the wheel base and I’m using it on PC mode it doesn’t recognise the H shifter in games, is that right?

Should I plug it in directly to the PC? So two usb’s to the PC?

This H-shifter has brought a new level of immersion to the simulators. Suddenly it’s fun again driving slow cars around the Nurburgring 😄
