@dude0702

I will have to check the calibrations because I made this change more than a year ago.

From memory, I think the race is reduced by 50%.

Profits in my view in my order of priority:

  • increased ankle comfort,
  • brown spring pre load for better consistency,
  • Subjectively, it takes less time to reach 100%.

I’ll check this weekend.
Thanks mate! 🙌

I checked the 3drap site and thought about getting it, but I just cannot justify spending over 30€ for a few pieces of plastic. Their shipping charges are insane despite the fact I live in a neighboring country...

I've been using a DIY solution for the past year or so, will just stick with that.

@EricTheActor That is a nice collection. Did you have trouble putting in the three rear screws in the MPI wheel rims or not? I would potentially like to buy them but I've read people had trouble with them.

What is your favourite wheel out of the ones you have?

Different user, but I was one of them that had issues with screws. They paid for shipping to fix the issue. But I should note that the MPI does require shorter screws compared to the Logitech for some reason.

Truth is they are all the same racing in vr2, about 3 laps in it doesn’t matter. You forget. No favorite, I rotate when my hands start to ache. The first 3 laps, that’s my favorite wheel.

The MPI’s the only issues as @tinyman392 said were the screw lengths. I did replace the screws with shorter ones. Or you could use spacers. The plastic plate on the front would push up. The design of the hub would allow you to not use any of the 3 screws if you wanted to. It’s a solid interlocked design and 6 huge hub screws.

Don’t let that keep you from mpi. If I had to pick one overall wheel covering the most bases at once it would be the GT 310 SUPERCAR. You can’t go wrong with any of them, I promise you won’t be disappointed with any of them. Well built fit and finish on both companies. You will be happy

McLaren wheel feels good too. It’s exactly the same size as the momo GT racer 290. Despite being upside down in design the have the same feel. Except the new McLaren has nice thick grips, the back protrudes out and sits nicely in your hand.

I could only remember for 3 laps though. Too busy battling in online races. What a fun time to have these video game setups. My first was Atari 2600. It blows my mind, just so wild! Which also makes me old lol. And also slow, but clean.

Hey everyone,

In my country (Brazil), Logitech has stated for me, via e-mail, that they have no estimated release date for the new RS H-Shifter. To make matters worse, neither international Amazon nor Logitech offers shipping for this specific item here.

However, I found a listing on a well-known local marketplace from a seller that ships directly from Miami. The platform offers a 30-day return policy and a "guaranteed purchase" program, which ensures I’ll receive exactly what was advertised.

Here’s my dilemma:
a) Warranty: Since Logitech doesn't offer a global warranty, I’ll be unprotected after those first 30 days.
b) Shipping: I’m concerned about the packaging being fragile for such a long journey.

Would you pull the trigger if you were in my shoes?

For context, I’m already deep into the ecosystem with a G Pro Wheel Base + Wheel + Sequential/Handbrake and a Playseat Trophy. While Logitech says they eventually plan to sell it here, I’m skeptical. They have a history of poor availability in my region… we can’t even buy simple accessories like the socket/gloves or the brake elastomers/springs separately if needed, or even the RS WHEEL HUB (everyone here who bought the PRO model is locked out of the new rims models)

Well, if you check my flag you will notice that I am a bit far away to the south than you from north america and I have to face that dilemma when I plan to bring expensive things until here.

In my experience, intenational shipping with the most common carriers (Fedex, UPS, DHL etc) is never a problem. They know how to handle fragile things. The problem in our countries is the last mile because customs open the boxes to check the content and they never close them with the same "love" or dedication that the original package had.
Here, sometimes is even worse. They dont know how to put all togheter again or just dont want to dedicate the time to pack everything as it was from factory and the thing can arrive in a generic box or bag notifying that the shipment got checked (forget about warranties)

It think is up to you depending on how much can hurt your economy if the product arrives faulty.

P.S.: I bought lot of things from Logitech and despite that kind of customs treatment I never had to deal with broken stuff.

Hi, since the Steam Machine seems to be coming soon, I'd like to know how compatible the Pro Wheel is with Linux/Steam OS. Does it work? Is there official support?
Anything new or upcoming Update?

Does anyone know of a discount to get the RS50 bundle in Europe, specifically Portugal? I saw a very good discount on amazon us but I can't find anything for Europe (apart from the 15% on logitech website)

Hi,
Here’s an interesting alternative for PCs or Steam Machines: Today I played Assetto Corsa Rally 0.4 on my wife’s 7-year-old MacBook Air (which still has an Intel processor) using GeForce Now Ultimate and my Logitech G Pro Wheel. It works. Apparently there’s no TrueForce, but there is force feedback, and I didn’t have much time to play, but I was really surprised that it’s actually playable. I’m still having a few issues. Right now, I’m only getting 30 FPS on my monitor (but that’s because of the MacBook—I haven’t found the right cable for 4K 60Hz yet). And my internet connection is a bit slow. I only have a 50 Mbps connection because my provider’s switch to a 400 Mbps plan is delayed. I’m going to try a few more cables to get to 60Hz, reduce the resolution a bit, and keep trying. I’ll also test it with Assetto Corsa Evo and maybe Le Mans Ultimate.
I think with a newer Mac and a good connection, you could even get 4K at 120Hz.

Would that work on a SteamDeck? Did somebody tried that?

Hey man, how's it going? I was actually planning to buy it from an international store using a forwarding service, but coincidentally, the product was listed as unavailable on the local store the very next day, so that made me realize a local launch really was going to happen. It finally dropped today and I grabbed one! I’m still considering importing some other gear that won’t be sold here, though (specifically the RS Wheel Hub and the Round Rim). Really appreciate your input, thanks!
