I didn't notice any difference between 1, 5, 10 or any other number when I changed the FFB setting in GT5. The text at the bottom of the screen says something about "this feature only active on DFGT"? I want to turn it way down or off. Is it possible in GT5?

The problem with GT5 is it's ffb signal (especially "weight shifting" effect) is too strong. The in-game ffb strength setting determines the "signal strength" the software sends to the wheel. Once the wheel FFB motors are turning at full power they can't do anymore. I think there is some differences between the lower settings but even at 1 it doesn't take much for the GT5 over demand what the wheel ffb motors can provide.

1. I would start off with amateur mode until you can better learn the wheel or if you're already doing okay with simulation then stick with it.

2. I have mine on 10 so I can really feel the road and the car but that is really up to you in the end.

3. Leave it on for sure.

4. No, controller sensitivity is only for the controller and does not effect the wheel.

5. No, you must use the stick shift in order to go into reverse.

Controller sensitivity does affect the wheel, well at least on the DFGT anyways.
