Hello I have a few questions, right now I'm on a vacation in Malaysia and thought of getting the g27 cause it's a bit cheaper here.ok so I have the following questions. ..
1.Does gt6 support this wheel.
2.it is cheaper but does not have international warranty will this pose a problem in the future.
3.i got my ps3 in india so will there be any compatibility issues?
4. It is kind of heavy and large too so will there be any issues in the airport since I will be going back to India in a few days.
5.And can anyone let me know of any other issue that I might have to look forward to and thank you guys ^___^

Hello I have a few questions, right now I'm on a vacation in Malaysia and thought of getting the g27 cause it's a bit cheaper here.ok so I have the following questions. ..
1.Does gt6 support this wheel. Don't know, best guess is yes
2.it is cheaper but does not have international warranty will this pose a problem in the future. Yes, if you need to make a warranty claim.
3.i got my ps3 in india so will there be any compatibility issues? Should be fine.
4. It is kind of heavy and large too so will there be any issues in the airport since I will be going back to India in a few days. No way to tell
5.And can anyone let me know of any other issue that I might have to look forward to and thank you guys ^___^

I had an issue with my G27 after 6 months and had to exchange for a new one. It's a fairly common issue, of the wheel going off centre after a few laps and you have to unplug and reset for it to centre again. Drive a few more laps and it's off centre again, sometimes as much as 90 degrees in just a few laps.

Compatibility will be fine for both the PS3 and GT6. Any potential airport issues will be fine if you are sensible. The sticking point is the warranty. Only you can decide if the saving is worth the risk.

1, Yes
2, thats your call, but I have a tough time thinking that logitech wouldnt warranty the wheel no matter where it was purchased or taken too, so long as it was bought new and you retain a receipt.
3, I do not believe that there is a country code lock out with hardware, just software.
4, as Lemans said, should be good as long as your sensible about it. Might try to take it as carry on if its not to big.
5, I'll encompass Johnnys post in with this. The G27 is a great wheel. Its the top wheel in the price range for sure, with the next step up costing twice as much. It has a large amount of "aftermarket" support, with tons of pedal mods and button box tutorials. The one catch. It will sometimes develop a calibration issue. This can be a simple fix, to a slightly less simple fix. There is an optic wheel attached to one of the FFB motors, and an optic light and sensor that mounts to the motor casing. Sometimes the screws mounting the optic light/sensor board come a bit loose which will make it have calibration issues. This is an easy fix. Take the wheel off, remove the cover and then the PCB and you should be able to tighten the screws easy enough. Now, the tougher issue to fix. That optic wheel is plastic, and has a fair amount of pressure being applied to it since it is press fitted onto the output shaft of the motor, eventually it starts to get stress cracks in it. (had mine for near a year now with only the first issue). If that happens though, there is a company that makes brass replacements that will fix the issue, but you will probably want to remove the FFB motor to facilitate the optic wheel replacement.

All the wheels out there have the potential to have issues. If there is one certainty in this world its that nothing is built to last long anymore. While it is the bottom rung of the better wheels, it is the top of the $200 or less wheels.
