Logitech G27

Ok so a friend of mine has a G27 and is wanting to get it on PS4 to join our race leagues but the problem is he is not happy because of the game devs only supporting thrustmaster wheels.. If I heard right Sony upgraded the PS4 firmware to support PS3 wheels so does that not mean SMS has to make the G27 at least supported even though there getting money from thrustmaster otherwise the game is broken because you might not be able to bind keys to the G27 and so on.. Thoughts anyone?

It is NOT the fault of SMS that some wheels may not be supported.
