Does it work with GT6? I am looking to get a wheel but I don't want to break the bank. Seen a few of these around for a reasonable price.

Yup, it should.

If you're looking for the ultimate budget wheel, buy the Driving Force GT. It was tailor made for Gran Turismo 5, has buttons laid out for it, and is awesome. It has 95% of the overall quality of the far more expensive G25/27 wheels. Where it shows its price, however, is the cheapish pedals which are still good.

I bought mine in 2009 for £85. If you're from Britain, you can pick it up from Gumtree for £50.

P.S just seen you're from the U.S, £50 is $83. I'm sure you can find it second-hand on ebay. If you want it brand new, wont cost more than $160 I'd have thought

This man preaches the truth. 👍

I third that! The Driving Force GT is the best budget wheel for GT6, & there are plenty of reasonably priced pre-owned ones for sale. 👍

I just bought a DFGT wheel...I like it and got new for $141 including tax at Fry's Electronics (US)
However it's taking some getting used to the wheel since I've use the ps controller since GT1

like others have said, the best budget wheel is the dfgt....i highly recommend getting the g27 , it might cost more, but you get what you pay for. if you are a casual gamer that plays an hour or two a week, dont buy a wheel, if you play an hour or two a day get the dfgt, but if you put in serious amounts of hours a day (2-8) i highly reccommend investing in the g27

Dont worry we've all been there :) Just keep practicing and soon it'll become like second nature - just like driving a car in real life.

When I bought my DFGT I was the same as you, it felt alien and I was slower than with a pad. That quickly changed, and now I use my DFGT for any title related to racing. It works great on every game I've played, and I'm significantly quicker than I was with a pad too.

haha I wish I could put in 8 hours a day. I think the wife would try to murder me/throw the ps3 out of the 3rd floor window

I don't know why but i've always wanted a MOMO, even though i have a G27 and a DFGT. If you really wanta great experience with GT6 buy a DFGT. If you plan on going to the PC side of sim racing aswell, Buy a G27.
