logitech wheel?

can you select the manual gear mode when you are in gt spech mode for any of your cars ?
i have a logitech force feedback wheel which is dedicated to gt4 and when i am in this mode in options, the gear select area is gray and you cannot select this option
i select the logitech 1 player icon and the list comes up with the gears up and down in gray ???
whats hapenning ?
when in arcade mode i can pick a car and chose auto or gears no problem!

Hi! To change gears from AT to TM go to Options Menu,click General,click Race and into Race Settings click in Transmission and select the AT or TM,then press OK and.. that's all.

you know i spoke to the shop assistant where i got the wheel and a couple of other people who might know without success.

how did you get your name, and from what part of the globe are you ?
