I started messing around with all the filters and stuff on photoshop and came up with a somewhat nifty logo tell me what you guys think.

It's not cruel. You don't even know cruel.

Here's what I think is wrong with it: I can't even tell what the background is, but it looks like a lot of other things I see all the time. The font is like something from a children's book cover. There are maybe one or two times in your life when motion blur will work; that isn't one of them.

Sorry I got all mad Mile, I didnt plan on using that I was just seeing what I could come up with.

I'm still learning some of the things you can do with patterns and other things this is something I did with a pattern what do ya think?
(I know its plain but its just something I did while I was learning)

the dots are a pattern thingy, i am looking up tutorials and trying to do them.
thats where all these are comming from.

Better. You're getting some nice depth there with the drop shadow, but I'd decrease the distance some.

Not bad, but there's too many filters. Try nice effects like small fires with brushes. Much nicer.

Try following the tutorial to a tee, and then apply it to your own creation.
