Logtiech Cordless Action controller OK for GT4

Has anyone used a Logitech Cordless Action controller with GT4? If so, are there any issues like slow response times? I'd love to be able to get rid of the wires running across my lounge, but if responsiveness is an issue, then I guess I'll have to put up with them.

Thanks,

Dave.

I use the DFP for GT4, but I did purchase the Logitech wireless controller for other games, just to give it a shot. There is no lag time, it responds just as quickly as wired controllers.

The only negative I can think of is that it feels heavier than the regular controller so after many hours of playing, your hands/wrists may get more tired than usual.

I use it for every race and it is awesome but be sure to buy some rechargeable batteries and turn the vibration off. There is a slight problem with my X button as it is not as sensitive as the original controler, otherwise it is an awesome controller and I reccomend that you buy it. You should turn the vibration off because your batteries will run longer. Right now I use Radioshack 1800 milliamp batteries they are NIMH and work really good. It gets 30 feet of range and it is not slow because it is 2.4 Giga hertz.

i use the logitech and its awsome.....only the directional pad suks if you input a lot of commands...ie.....doing wepons cheat on gran theft auto....but with gt4 i found that the shape was actually more comfortable for a longer duration....the freedom of movement makes up for the slight wieght difference

do the gas and brake still have the full DS2 support (where you can have part throttle) or are they on and off switches?

Also can the memory card and the wireless receiver be plugged in at the same time (i heard somewhere that they couldn't)

Thanks for the replies everyone :). I think I'll try to pick one up, but finding one in the UK is proving to be a bit hard, so I might end up ordering direct from Logitech, unless anyone knows of a good mail order supplier in the UK.

Thanks,

Dave.

I have the original wireless one (the one with 4aa batteries) and i must say this is the best 3rd party controller i`ve used. Everything is top quality and i like how the buttons have alot more travel than the regular ds2, it makes it easier allow full usage of the analog functions. The only grip i have about it is that it is bad for any sort of fighting game. The buttons aren`t really suitable due to their longer travel so i just switch to the reg. ds 2 at that point.
