Hi Stigbelcher - it might be worth adding F5000 to the end of the thread title to attract more votes!

The Lola T332 won the USA F5000 championship in 1974 and 1975 in the hands of Brain Redman. Also 1976 in T332C form.

This car would be a good choice for the game - a 500bhp, 665kg single seater with adjustable aero should be enjoyable to drive! The spec of 0-100kmh in 4.2 seconds doesn't sound right - the 4.7 litre Mark 2 Cobra did that in 1963!

F5000 might be a good choice for the game - they could either give us just this car with a wide range of liveries or if there are no licensing issues with a series - a choice of cars. Most F5000 cars, like this one used the Fuel Injected OHV small block Chevrolet motor with 500bhp. The rules required a motor with a stock (street derived) cylinder block with up to 5,000cc with OHV or up to 3,500cc with OHC - hence the development of the Cosworth Ford GA V6 quad cam (470bhp) 3.4 litre engine used in the Group 2 Capris plus the March 75A and Chevron B30 F5000 cars. If PD could get the deep rumbling bass of the V8 Chevy and the howling, cloth tearing scream of the V6 GA it could be a very enjoyable single seater series. Below rival Ford powered March 75A.

Below Ford GA V6 F5000 motor fitted to March 75A and Chevron B30 rivals - gorgeous!

Below the dominant engine for F5000 - fuel injected Chevrolet 5.0 V8 OHV - equally lovely!
