Hello I would like some help. I am posting on the kazunori yamauchi q&a thread and I have several people that I am representing in the car world more specifically the 2003 - 2004 Svt cobra owners, we wanted to try to ask why our cars have never been featured in any gt games. And my thread is locked and no one can like or comment on it. Some help would be nice!! Thanks in advance!!!

The answer to why any car has not been featured in any previous game can be summed up by the following:
  • They were not able to attain the necessary licensing approval to include the car in the game.
  • They were not able to scan/photograph a car for reference to build the 3D model.
  • The production team decided to focus their efforts on adding other models to the game.

Thanks guys for your quick response!! For some reason bi don't get alerts on replies. Anyhow as far as license they obviously have fords full support... Even SVT, which is special vehicle team. Modeling and art Svt cobra r.... Remove the wing, rear exhaust remove sideskirts and a little bit different front bumper (less diffuser), not very difficult considering polyphony digital capabilities, sound and and physics, the panoz in the game has a supercharged 4.6 terminator motor basically a panoz body on cobra frame, if you look on free look option and zoom in you could actually see the indigo cobra gauges lol. I would think licensing issues would be the biggest deal but like I mentioned before they have permission from Ford so it really needs a better explanation than those provided by the all too generic FAQ. Thanks again gentlemen and I will post in the appropriate section!!
