I thought I would start a gallery because, well, I take so many shots for the contests, it's almost a shame I have to only post one.

These are some of my first photos in GT4 that I've taken, so any critique and tips would be appreciated!

Taking too many photographs is not new territory for me, I do that in real life as well. I think taking photographs in real life is helpful in understanding how to take photographs here, as well.

Once I figure out the intricacies of linking to single posts and such I suppose I'll make some sort of index....ALSO, I don't know how to post things side by side...

Anyway:

So, these are the ones that didn't make the cut. (I will add my contest entries after the respective contest is over.)

they're quite good for a first try, and excellent i must say for first gallery shots. congrats on having your own gallery now :) the last of the infiniti set is really nice! love the wide angle and the black and white touch. the nsx could use a bit more improvement in terms of
focus and sharpness on some of them, but it's not really a big deal. the second and third shot, infact most of them look like they were processed with HDR. were they ? either way the photos look good. would love to see what you do with real life photography. welcome to the club and hope to see more from you!

Yeah, for the NSX shoot I was a bit rushed as my Mom and Sis wanted to use the TV. But I really had to finish in order to enter the contest. If I had more time, I probably could have improved the focus and sharpness. Thanks for the comment. ^^ None of them are HDR shots, I only photoshopped them a little bit, not very much.

Little do they know, we are hiding among them. I look forward to many, many battles with you. Maybe I'll see you on the track sometime, as well.
 
i'm not racing you on gt5 if you use a wheel. i just sold mine today :lol: controllers are slow! and yes, i look forward to competing with you as well. i know you have a lot to offer.

Controllers aren't that bad. I did pretty well before with mine. I do have a wheel, but I'd be willing to do a controller battle. ^^

And..thank you so much.
 
I like the Infinity set. The gold paint looks good in the location.

The NSX if excellent. The sun is the reason I sometimes use Montegi (sp?).

I can't wait to see more, maybe some US Muscle?

Thank you so much. ^^ And I might do some in the future, if one of the contests allows it, as these are reject contest entries. And...I only have one Muscle car right now, as...well you know about my corrupt game save and blah blah blah I am only at 10 percent. XD



Here is my first update:

'95 Toyota Celica GT-Four Rally Car ST185 ( for PmC "Realism" theme. Some of these are obviously not realistic, though.)

























^ The last is a slight brighter version of my PMC entry.

I like both Celica and Avantime update. I realize not many people trying to drive gravel at Motegi (I did it long time ago), but sure it was fun. I particularly enjoy the Avantime at Monaco track. The background building makes it far more interesting than clear blue sky.

Wow, there are lots of Canadians here. XD


It is fun, I wanted to have the lights on, so that's the first track I thought of. And it's a rally car, so it's suitable to be off-road. Heh. ^^

Yeah, the buildings to add something, I think. They perhaps might looks better if all the Monaco shots were in black and white...

I thought I would do an update...since I haven't for a while.

Here are a few photographs from a shoot I did that ended up not using. Because most of the shots didn't turn out the way I wanted them to, and these are ones that just managed to squeak by my quality control.

Alpine A310 and Lancia Delta Integrale @ Charmonix







And these are reject shots from the R8 drift. The last one is my favourite - in fact I think it might be better than my entry.


Audi R8 and Mazda 787B @ Grand Valley





 
I like the second picture, the car behind raising the dust.. And it looks like the driver of the car in front hasn't got anymore control over the car :D.. From the R8 shots, I like the third one most, because the car's drifting around a 787B, which should be a hard mission 👍 Well done and I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures from you ;)

Yeah, I liked that shot too. The car in front is the computer, so not much control is accurate. ^^;

They're all drifting though. XD But as I said, that's my favourite too.
