Longest Drift in GT

What is the longest drift corner in GT?
What are your opinions on the hardest drift corner in GT?

Well my longest drift was the big turn on R246.

The longest drift is the big turn in Complex String II. It's probably my favorite corner to drift because you feel like you drift forever.

It's the long turn at the bottom left of the picture.



The hardest corners...hmm.. The ones that give me the most trouble are the tight 180 degree corners. Even after all the drifting I've done since I got GT3, I still have trouble with those sometimes..at least in FR cars. Example: The first turn at deep forest.

that's a lot of good speed and throttle control to drift that turn.. but if you are doing just complex string and not complex string II, it would be easier since the turn gets bigger and all you have to do is over power the turn.

I prefer complex string II because I can drift that long turn and link it straight into the next corner and the next corner and the next corner..etc. I have trouble sometimes drifting that whole corner on complex string 1 though because you have less speed entering the long corner.

Agreed. I also prefer CS II, for the same reason. I love linking all of the loops in my GTSt, and my S13.

I have drifted too that long corner in CS. But I like more that long 90+90 degrees turn in Deep Forest Raceway, you can see it in left below in that map, it's more fun to drift it because there's uphills and downhills. MR2 GT-S with all mods and sim tyres is my favourite car to drift that corner.

longest drift I have seen was on Midfield Raceway ..... 10-11 and 5....

IMO that 10 to 11 corner link isn't very far, but it's quite hard to drift perfectly trough with FR car at least.

I wasn't aware that the big turn at complex string could drift. So how can you drift like it?

i like drifting that same turn ethix101 said he likes to drift. what i find hard are the bunch of 90 degree turns on complex string. Sometimes i'm going good and i just spin out near the last one or i lose too much speed.

oh yeah but everything aside the two turns in test course are the hardest turns. (never saw someone try those turns before in a video)

What about that tunnel in grand valley after the bridge that one seems to be long I dont think I've seen any videos of someone drifting all the way through that.

in the center of the level there is the kind of square drift with a hard turn into an almost u turn type. really fun to drift. you have to use e-brake but it looks great in the end.

At the beginning of my "Slide" vid, I do that turn with my Stock Altezza.

Can you diagram which part you are talking about. I can't seem to get a picture in my head, of what corners you mean.

The longest single Turn in GT3 is the big loop on Complex String (Fact). The longest drift in the game, is up to the driver.
