Ok, I'm bored, and so I'm curious to find out who has the longest signature in the forums. Of course, signatures of more than 8 lines don't count, but with the marquee option, that number multiplies dramatically. Formatting tags are not to be included. Post the name of the person, and their sig. we'll find out the longest by # of lines, then # of words, then # of characters...

Here is a marquee that has the sole purpose of being long and annoying. In this, you will find just about anything I can think of to make time pass, and this marquee longer. Click here to email it to me. I am a member of several clubs (several of which don't exist any more) and am fairly talented at photoshoping cars. I can do all of the following to any car at all, I can darken it, paint it, tint the windows, tint the headlights, darken the headlights, and change the rims. If the car is at a good angle, I can change the bumper, add a spoiler, change the top, and add such visible upgrades as turbo kits, air intakes, and burnouts. Should you ever want me to fix up a car for you, email me with the request and the car, and I'll try to fix it up as soon as I can. (click here to email me) I don't actually have photoshop, but an ancient program called MGI Photosuite. It is an oldy but goody when it comes to visual editors. Speaking of age, I am not too old, but then again, I'm not incredibly young either. The only information I am at liberty to convey to you is that I will graduate in the year of 2006. My favorite color is blue, but that is not my school's color (quite the opposite: it's the school color of the rival team). My school claims the colors of Maroon and Gold to itself. Our school mascot is actually a Ram, but our teams are called the woolies. I have to go. It's not because I don't like you, it's just because I have to go. This message will end very soon; very soon. If you have gotten this far in reading it, you'll probably stay until the end (which is coming very soon). if this message isn't annoying yet, I congradulate you on your patience. I am going now, I will see you all later, goodbye (and that is final)............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... I have a direct rebuttal to that! I just had my last marching band competition. It was our best performance of the year, but apparently the biased judges didn't think so. What should have gotten four stars ended up with only two. We should've got a silver!!! I HATE BIASED JUDGES!!!!!!! Oh well... If you've been reading this, you're in proximity to a place where you can hit the Private Messenger button and send me a message. Writing this message is getting very tedious, and so I will stop now.

GT4!!
Very few informations have already been released about the tracks available in GT 4. Nevertheless, we will certainly see the return of the most famous circuits of the former episodes, as Deep Forest, Midfield Raceway or Autumn Ring (which reappeared in GT Concept 2002). Moreover, Polyphony Digital has revealed that at least two new tracks -one in China and the other in Hong-Kong- will be added, And others... CAR INFO!For the moment we don't know many things about car specificities in GT4. Nevertheless, we should see the return of the models of the most famous constructors of GT series (and especially Toyota). Anyway, the japanese constructors should be the most numerous of the game. Some rumors have also appeared concerning a possible collaboration between Polyphony Digital and Ferrari, And maybe Porsche and we could see some vehicles coming from Maranello..But the information needs to be officially confirmed. On the contrary, Porsche licence is still the property of Electronic Arts, We may not be able to add but maybe, and Ruf should be (once again) the only way for players to feel the taste of the Flat Six. The fourth Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi said, is due for completion in about two years, and should feature a great many features besides the oft-discussed network battle.Expanded modifications to the styling, color, and exterior of cars are to be expected, some of them possibly downloadable from Sony's broadband network, as well as much more supplemental information about each model. More ambitious courses are in planning stages as well, with the winding roads along the Mediterranean Sea being one example. Yamauchi also said he would like to include more old, classic cars, with authentic sound and handling...Test drive mode to be expected.. Kazunori Yamauchi, the Polyphony Digital president, made an appearance during the last Tokyo Amlux Auto Salon. He spoke for a long time about Gran Turismo 3 and Gran Turismo Concept ambitions, and he dropped the very first informations concerning Gran Turismo 4: 'Some improvements were made in Gran Turismo 3 but many ideas still weren't implemented. In GT4 we want to fully explore the simulation aspects of the series. A wholly revised gameplay system has been proposed including new modes of play. Network compatibility for example is a major step in development and something we're exploring. We're still interested in vehicle damage modeling, but that issue has caused some arguments with auto manufacturers. We also have to consider the limitation of the media. While many restrictions have been removed in terms of hardware, we used almost all 4.7 GB on the DVD for Gran Turismo 3.' Only a few informations... But that's enough to understand that the developpers' ambitions, and especially concerning the online game, are not fully compatible with the PS2 capacities. That's why we are not far to think that GT 4 will probably see the light of day on the future PS3, although this hypothesis is officially demented.

You know that the longer your sig is, the more you suck as a member.

No kidding. Not only "who reads that", but "who needs to read that 20 times in one thread, below each stupid one-liner".

Seriously, jpec, you're on my Ignore list just so I don't have to scroll past that crapola every time. In my browser, it doesn't scroll (even if it is supposed to) which means it wastes 4" of screen space with every post.

Meme/F1, thank you for getting rid of that giant sig you used to carry. I really think it was a good move on your part, and I appreciate it. As soon as I saw that, I took you back off my Ignore list.

Ah, but that's what I just said. It doesn't scroll, which means I have to see the whole damn thing after every pearl of wisom that you happen to drop. Every one-line post you make is followed by 4" of signature.

Yes, I could turn off sigs entirely, but then I'd miss a lot of good ones, just to avoid yours. It's easier to just put you on my Ignore list.

Because he doesn't use Internet Explorer most likely.

Marquees suck. Especially when there are 5 different marquees in one signature, each alternating in direction. It's really cheesy.

Keep signatures under 3 lines.

What do people think of the size of my sig?

[offtopic]Klos can you bring back your ugly teeth avatar, I miss it[/offtopic]

Oh ok.

Every month, I dont think I have the self control not to change my avatar every 3 days or so.

*sigh* No, vB is not the problem... neon_duke is running Netscape, which does not support marquee tags at all, whether or not vB handles them. So, Netscape users will not be able to properly view anything within <marquee></marquee> tags, not matter what. Marquees are only supported in IE and a few open-source browsers (such as Mozilla).

And please, people, take members who aren't able to properly view marquees into consideration when you create your .sigs... M5Power is a prime example of someone who has balanced info content with a sane .sig that's only 5 or 6 lines when viewed in non-marquee form. Please follow his lead.

Also, I'll ditto what Klos said about .sigs going every which way... it's utterly annoying, plus it just increases uploading time for dial-up users.
