This 4.5 mile rural street circuit was very fast and dangerous with a long wooden bridge, a corner passing under a brick built railway viaduct and three areas of the track where the cars got airborne, but that didn't stop Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Frank Gardner and a host of other great drivers from competing there between 1953 and 1968. The features which made it so dangerous would make it a thrilling track for GT6 or GT7.
Listen to Frank Gardners recollections of racing at the track (includes fantastic period race footage).
