Sorry for the sensationalist title, but I needed your attention.

I'm having difficulty with shopto, arguing about my pre paid pre order, which they cancelled after trying to charge me again and failing. has any of you been charged again today? Have you had your order stopped?

I've also been banned (it appears) from accessing the forum after dropping the "trading standards" bomb.

I'm truly unhappy about this, and a certain forum moderator there is also annoying me with his attitude, continuing to try and defending the company he represents.

Anyway, if there are more of us in a similar situation, it would be interesting to hear.

P.S.

I have a receipt and bank statement proving I paid on the 26th of October.

Considering Jordans latest news post, and the fact shopto advertise on the front page, maybe you could pester Jordan to fire an email off and hopefully someone in charge will get their finger out!

Just a suggestion. With me, some suggestions are best considered nuts, so proceed with caution.
 
I'm still a newbie round here, besides I dont want to directly involve GT planets good name :)

nice idea though, but I'm hoping I'm not the only one ( in the nicest possible way) because I can use that in my phone call monday.

I would be the first to let shopto that your discussing your problem
in the gtplanet forum and it would be in their interest for a positive result.
 
I've been banned from the forum there. I apparantly was arguing with the boss, through a mod. I'm going to bed now, but I'll be checking back here first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance all of you
 
I think you should take the advice they gave you on the forum. Wait til Monday and ring customer service. Also check with your bank.

It clearly states at the top of that forum not to post purchase/ordered related enquiries so you are probably lucky you received any help at all.

You seem to have blown the whole problem out of proportion by expecting someone who doesn't have the means to help you do exactly that.
 
What Mum said. I haven't been charged twice. You really haven't gone about it in the right way. You can't expect someone to help you who isn't actually in a position to do so, not only that, but it looks like they went beyond the call of duty in trying to help you.
 
Then why did he try to help me at all then? my first post was just an enquiry. nevermind, whatever, obviously im the only one who thinks a company trying to charge me twice is wrong.
