Well, you knew I would do this thread. How could I not after doing one for GT4 and GT5 (Which btw I did finish but never got around to post the last 25%)?

This time around I am changing the format. I do enjoy spinning a good yarn and had a blast with the other two threads but I just don't have the time to write fancy stories anymore, life gets in the way you know..

So this time it will be a more fact/list format. Boring, I know, but that is what I can commit to doing this time around. So without any further ado, let's get this show on the road.

THE FORMAT
I will list the events as I do them to show the order that has been followed. Cars will be listed as they are won/bought as well as the mods done when needed.

NATIONAL B - MISSION RACES
These can be golded with a bit of effort.
Hardest one might be the Mt Panorama.. maybe it was because I didn't know the track. Took me 6 tries. Sme with Silverstone 7 tries.

***** LANCER EVO VI TM SPECIAL EDITON '99 AWARDED

NATIONAL B - JAPANESE 90'S CHALLENGE
Car: Lancer Evo VI TM Special Edition '99.
Mods: None
Race 1: Easy.
Race 2: Easy.
Race 3: Easy.

NATIONAL B - COFEE BREAK
Race 1: 3800 Meters. Main tip is to gain speed and let it roll down the hills with a big squirt at 15% leaving only 2-3%.
Race 2: Cone knocking sucks... could only manage 158 after god knows how many tries.

NATIONAL B - LICENSE TESTS
With the exception of A5 (Apricot Hill) golding is not hard.

***** HONDA S2000 '06 AWARDED *****
***** KTM XBOW STREET '12 AWARDED *****

GOODWOOD FESTIVAL - 1X TESTS

This hill climb (in three different cars) is all about keeping the momentum through the curves. There are a couple at the end that are almost just a "drive straight through" proposition.

***** LIGHT CAR COMPANY ROCKET '07 AWARDED *****

LUNAR EXPLORATION

Besides getting your head around there being no track and not getting carried away 'catching air' on the hill crests (ofter results on flipping the car) this is fairly straight forward and lots of fun.
Race 1: Easy.
Race 2: The hardest of the three to gold.
Race 3: Second hardest.
GOODWOOD FESTIVAL - 2X TESTS
A bit harder than the first lot. With faster cars you need to actually use the brakes more. The AMG car is niiiccceee.

***** PLYMOUTH GHIA XNR '60 AWARDED *****

NATIONAL B - CLASSIC SPORTS CAR SERIES

Car: Plymouth Ghia XNR '60
Mods: None
Race 1: Easy.Note the car is slow to gather speed but top speed faster than others in the field
Race 2: Easy.
Race 3: Easy.

***** NATIONAL B ALL STARS ACURA NSX '91 AWARDED *****

NATIONAL A - 500 PP CLUBMAN CUP
Car: Lancer Evo VI '99
Mods: None
Race 1: Very Easy.
Race 2: Easy.
Race 3: Close. The NSX will chase to the finish line. Almost a photo finish.

NATIONAL A - NIGHT MASTERS
Car: Acura NSX '91
Mods: None
Race 1: Challenging. The car is tail happy and there is an NSX '01 in the mix. Photo finish.
Race 2: Entertaining.
Race 3: Close. Being a new track (Willow Springs) is challenging to drive at night.

*** NATIONAL A COFFEE BREAK OPEN ****

NATIONAL A - GORNERGRAT LEAUGUE

Car: KTM XBOW '12
Mods: None.
NOTE: This xbow has no wing so it is skittish under brakes.
Race 1: Easy. Most of the cars in the field are faster uphill if you drop out of the power band.
Race 2: Challenging. It is part of the Matterhorn in reverse. White knuckle ride for sure!
Race 3: Challenging. This is all about keeping the xbow in the power range. Everyone in the field has much better low end torque and wings that favour this high speed track.
***** NATIONAL A ONE MAKE RACES OPEN *****
***** INTERNATIONAL B LICENSE TESTS OPEN ****

25% ACHIEVED! SEE YOU IN THE NEXT THREAD..

How did you get the Merc AMG GT for free? I've golded all the novice events (apart from the coffee break cone thing, which I hate) but not got that car as a gift.
