Basically i currently prefer a soft sports to a hard racing and so on... i don't ever use mediums or hards unless the race requirements demand it

Could somebody possibly explain about tyres for me and how to know what each set of tyres (comfort, sports & racing only) are for?

I know nothing lol. I probably waste 36k too often because i just assume they'll be the best come rain or shine but they must have mediums for a reason

PS.. Durablitity isn't really an issue for me as i don't do much b-spec and never do endurance races

Thanks :)

Someome correct me if I am wrong but I think they are in order and reverse order. In other words, comfort hards will have the best life and the worst grip. And racing softs will have the best grip and worst life.

If you want to be fastest (not in rain) use racing soft always. If you want realism, use sports tires (soft has best grip) for street cars, racing tires for race cars, and comfort tires for diahtsu midgets and Fiat 500's (and drifting).

After one of the new updates tire wear was fixed, so racing hards have less grip than softs but lasts longer, which made most people switch to hard tires when tire wear was turned on. It used to be that softs had better grip and lasted longer because you didn't get as much wheel spin with softs.
