Come now TM, you should know that all good aspiring anthropologist should have read Dawkins by now :p. I have read many of his books and many of them are required or at least strongly suggested course reading for my classes.

I've pretty much read all of Carl Sagan's books as well and seen just about every episode of Cosmos they show on the Science Channel.

Dean Koontz is ok, I did like Velocity, and I can't stand anything by Stephan King that was written in the past few years. He's lost his touch and it's sad. I have read the Prey series by Sanford and thought it was good.

Clive Cussler is a bit hit or miss, I've read some really good ones and I've read some that were awful. I think he's lost his touch a bit with his later stuff.

I'll look into the Watchmen.

I have read Hokkadio Highway Blues, it was awesome, I definitely recommend to anyone. I have not read Raw Spirit though but since it contains travelling, cars, and Scotch I have to read it, I love all those things. I've never actually seen This Mercedes is Not For Sale in any of the book stores I've been to. Guess I need to get on Amazon.

I still haven't gotten to the store yet, although I have to go out of town tonight and will probably stop along the highway and pick up some books so I can read while in the hotel room. Thanks again for all the continued suggestions though 👍!

Three books from my favourite author, Haruki Murakami.

Dance Dance Dance

This is a sequel to his Wild Sheep Chase novel, but it stands alone story-wise. This is the first of his many books that I read. It was the book that started my Mukami collection (which I am now trying to read in its original japanese). Excellently written, eerie, and touching.

Kafka on the Shore

One of his more recent works and also highly recommended. His characters are very believable and easily related to.

Wind-up Bird Chronicle

Another one of his longer books. Part mystery, part supernatural thriller, part historical record, yet engrossing and believable.

I was just looking on Amazon.com and thought you might be interested in Jupiter's Travels: Four Years Around the World on a Triumph. But I figure you probably already read it. At least other people can potentially check it out.
