looking for friendly online racers

Hey all....

Not sure about all of you but I'm tired of all the BS in the online rooms...it seems every room I try and race in, people can't use their brakes, cheat, cant control their cars, are sideways most of the time in non drifting rooms, race dirty, take forever to start a race etc, etc...

I'm looking for some online friends to race with without all that BS....below I will list what I like to race, and if it's your style too, let me now.

I like between 450-600 pp races, voting on the tracks, no stupid penalties, racing tires and any tune you wish, no race cars.

Just straight, clean racing. You wreck somebody? You apologize. You knock into someone while trying to pass? You give them that spot back.

I still like to have a few laughs though and keep it relaxed and fun for noobs and pros alike.
 
Generally my buds and I do Nascar, and are always looking for good racers. Occasionally I'll race road course though, send me a friend request if you're interested. I will be on tonight around midnight central standard time.
 
Well thats online in GT5 for you. Had some idiot in an R34 banging into everybody once and I stopped at that and joined a racing league instead.
 
I run into the same thing every nite :(. Add me if u want my PSN is the same as my name on here. it's hard to find people that take racing seriously anymore.jus go as hard as they can into the first corner, ram everybody then rage quit..
 
It's a shame that our timezone differs 6 hours (I think). I'm doing practice races now on Nurburgring 24H with a 135i with around 500pp preparing for the 4hr endurance race. Just add me and enter my private lounge whenever you see me online, join the race with a car you can do lap times of around 9.10.xxx in and have some fun!

By the way, I usually tend to be a mid pack runner, but will squeak out out a few wins here and there, I'd rather be an average racer racing with clean friends than someone who wins race after race because they have one fast car and never change it. I am usually on nights after 6 on eastern time....
 
We have 5-6 racers that run lounge races to avoid the things you just said. Some are very skilled some...not so much. Probably on 3-4 times a week after 9pm CST. Shoot me a FR if you want to get some races in

Yep, that's why I got into highly organized racing, where basically the cars are limited in some very specific way.
With pp restriction, or just racing a particular class... basically there's just a few cars that you're ever going to drive if you want to be competitive. :(

My personal online philosophy is Honor > Win.

I have found a lobby before that said "GTP Rules" or something like that. Very clean racing and still very competitive. I even had a couple of races where I wasn't in last place!

If you ever want to open a public lobby or your own lounge let me know and I will race you.
 
Thats why I quit racing online, thinking about coming back though. As you may guess, NASCAR is what I mainly do but am open to anything. Those who know me, will tell you that I'm a serious, clean racer with 0 tolerance for bs. Anyone who wants, fr me and we'll chew up some pavement. cargorat323 is my PSN id. Clean lines = good times!!
 
Thanks for the addition - if anyone else here would like to add me, please do so! I race Wednesday and Saturday nights 9pm Mountain time, Sundays 9 to 12am. Since I have tomorrow off, I will be hosting a room tonight as well. 500-600pp Street Cars usually, but do race some 600pp race cars once in a blue moon.

All are welcome! Especially those that like to change cars every race, unless you didn't do so well. 👍
 
It can be hard to find a lobby with clean racers in for sure but there are some, can take a bit of time to find them sometimes.
I like to win the same as everyone else does but i also dont mind coming last if its been a clean and close race.
Just FR the good guys so you know you can find a good lobby.
 
I usually only race online with my friends because of the same reasons. I will add you, we mostly run street cars 500-600pp sport hard-sport soft. I'm on most nights between 10pm-2am est.
