Is anyone else hooked on the song "Lose Yourself" from Eminem's new movie called 8 Mile?

This song has been playing over and over on my computer now for a week (that and The Hampster Dance by Hampton The Hampster)

His movie looks like it could be okay too. They are really pushing it on tv and around the mall on posters.

I personally think the mainstream industry played it out already long before the movie is coming out.

They should have waited a little bit.

I'm kind of sick of it already, but I have the whole 8-mile soundtrack, you should buy it when it comes out next week. Well worth the money.

Who buys cd's?????

welcome to the 2000's, I'll just D/L like the rest of North America

what is the name of the other 3 new tracks he did for that movie?

I buy CDs. I'd much rather support my band and actually own the CD than download the songs. Though, I do download some songs.

I personally hate the song. I don't know if it's Eminem or the song. My sister seems to like it, but her musical tastes suck.

Her playlist is the epitome of ****.

Not if you have any taste in good music at all.

Also, I don't know why someone as good as Rakim is soiling his name by having his song in some eminem movie.

The movie is good, but JACKASS is a lot better I think. I love TMD :D

Anywhoo, I don't see why you dis~like eminem so much, he is better than all of the rappers that get airplay now a days.

Unless you're telling me you'd rather hear songs like "Are We Cuttin It"

Someone should shoot the girl rapping in that song, sayin Pastor Troy Pass The Boys... what is the music industry coming to when they have to use pre-school rhymes?

I don't like his music. Ther are plenty of underground rap groups that are a hell of a lot better than him. One that has recently got some airtime--Jurassic 5, is miles better [punny, isn't it?] than Eminem.

Of course most underground artist are better.

But on the mainstream daily airplay\music video bull****, there are only about one or two artist that can even be considered close to Em's talent. His songs are a masterpiece (just my opinion). And J-5 been out for a long time before, few years back actually, they are a good group. But I think 50-Cent, PROOF, and Eminem can take out any rap crew.

To hear a good song by eminem and proof, download Tim Westwood Freestyle, it's one of the best hip-hop freestyles I have ever heard, both come with some jaw dropping lines. :D

we have an un-cut radio station here in australia called Triple J . a few weeks ago their feature album of the week was jurassic 5 and ive gotta say it was good.

I like Eminem's new song. For once, I think it's sending a good message. Instead of ***** this and smoke that and **** you, which is the "normal" message of rap.

It's a really cool song. It makes you look at Eminem with a different perspective. Like Viper Zero said, the lyrics actually are meaningful and are sending a good message. I really like the beat, too.

Really interesting song. If you haven't liked Eminem in the past (me) you might want to check this song out.

most of eminem's lyrics are different from other rappers bull**** lyrics. he actually puts a lot of thought into them and if you look past the swearing.

I am listening to this song as I am typing this. It is not as bad as most of his songs. Actually his newest CD has gained him respect among many rappers.

hard to do that. 90% of his whining is ****, **** or p*ss...

The thing i find hard to handle with M&M is his constant whineing. He complains about bloody everything a real negative message.

If you can switch off to the lyrics (hard to do) then he's ok, but just ok and no better. 4/10 could try harder.

Jurassic 5 is awesome. One of the few rap groups out there who can really represent what rap should be like. My favorite rap though, would definately be The Pharcyde, or The Roots.

 that is pretty true db! I didn't know that triple j was uncut. i was listening to it up near Coffs... its an ok station :) But eminem is ok, only like a few of his songs...
