Loss position in a 15 minute Race

Yeah it always does that to me. Time expires and I see my position drop down the list from first to last as all the other cars pass the finish line. Sometimes I'll pop back up to first once I finally finish lol.

It still seems to give me the correct prize money so whatever.

Anyone tried slowing down at the finish line at the end of lap 2 and just crossing when the timer runs out?
