Lotus 97T physics are terrible

OP, I really think you need to learn how to set the cars up by feeling the car and deciding what adjustments it needs. One adjustment at a time. I'm running 1:43-1:45s depending on tire wear at Spa, 1:17s at Monaco and I was doing 1:19s at Monza with my old tune. For reference, my new tune is about four seconds quicker at spa than my first, so I expect to bkow the doors off my old time at Monza.

I have no life, so I spent a good six hours or so, dialing it in. My advice is to pick a tight track, that you know well, and start cracking away.

It's not just the physics of the 97T. Me thinks air and road drag is not modelled correctly on the whole, as do many others. Hop in any race car. If you know what you're doing, you can beat top real life times all over the place. If the wheel bases, weights, and power are accurate in the game, then I think friction changes are the solution.
