Hi all. I don't know if this is already series, but I think it would be cool. It will be an all one make Lotus Caterham series. I'm not home right now, so I don't know the specs so far, but what do you guys think?

The in game car is not strictly a Lotus.

Wiki
The many aftermarket tuning companies for these cars have also offered the Ford Zetec, Honda Fireblade, Honda Blackbird, Suzuki Hayabusa and even the Mazda Rotary engine.

In 2001, Caterham designated MG Rover the sole engine supplier for factory-built Sevens, with Ford Zetec, Honda Fireblade, Yamaha Firebird and Suzuki Hayabusa engines still available for kit assembly.

I think this is the car you're referring to?

Anyway....I not here to argue.
What kind of format do you have for the series? Sounds interesting.

I would be interested in this , it sounds like fun .

When the rules , regs , tracks & day / time are finalised I will be able to give a 100% commitment or not .

Put me down for now though . 👍

i had been thinking somthing similar but with 2 series, one for strictly controled cars with a few addons but no adjustability and one for any highly tuned caterham, just need to find a 0 miles unmoded caterham. so i would be very willing to help/ set up a series

EDIT: Here's my list of the regulations and tracks we might run if this takes off:

Max Power: 239 HP
Weight: 369 KG

No Driver aids except TC on 2 if you want

Tracks:
Nurburgring Nordschliefe
Nurburgring GP/F
Nurburgring GP/D
Monaco (Cote D Azure)
Autumn Ring
London
Circuito De Madrid
Spa Francorchamps
One of my Eiffel, or Toscana courses?

Here's the link of the official website ( I don't know if it will work because I'm on mobile).

Hope you guys will like this!

Someone tried to start one of these a couple months ago and it went nowhere.

That would be me. And it was only a few weeks ago.

Maybe my time zone was the major factor. So if I couldn't get people to join mine because of the times, I doubt I'll be making this one.

Enjoy. :)

Hello, thanks for the notification nitro. I may jump in for a few races, depending on time. But as always, I can only commit full attention to one series. :/

My two cents.

1. Times and dates?

2. You didn't mention tires. Personally, I'd rather see the car run closer or at it's natural tune weight and hp level, on SS tires or RH tires at most, with all aids off but ABS of course. Bring out the truly skilled drivers and make it a real challenge to drive.

Hey, thanks for the invite but I just cant commit to another series. Best of luck with it 👍

I can make some of the races saturday (day time) friday (evening) Tuesday (evening) and then only maybe. Let me know when you decide a time etc.
ABS would be cool btw. Everything else not worried about.

Ok what HP nag weight?

Nag weight? ...lol. Not sure what it is, but I have a couple of untouched versions of the car in my garage I can look it up. I find that most cars handle better when they are close to their normal weight and hp. Once you start engine upgrading and throwing turbos on, it upsets the balance of most cars to the point where they aren't nearly as much fun to drive.
