Is there place for a Lotus Evora Cup Successor

hyper and I were contemplating the start of a new Cup Event to follow in the footsteps of the very successful Lotus Evora Cup. Since there are already a lot of events present, do you guys think there is room for another Cup event among the current events?

BTW, we plan to keep it British. :)
 
+1 totally agree, doesn't even need to be British, a one make car event always brings close/good racing
 
Doesn't Evora have any chances to be competitive in Custom 600PP event?

Might be good to include Evora-cup and Custom event together. More good racers at same time.

I have drove the Evora on S2's and its still good, runs @ 600pp fine. However, it will not keep up with the F430's.
 
I think another 1 make race will be good! Dont really mind which car.... *cough* M3 *cough*

Ok...that's pity.

But how about that it's good to get good racers to same schedule? It is not so big deal if Evora's cant win fast 430... and if you win, it feels even better. Most important is anyway to get many familiars to same grid.

Maybe Custom-event could have theme-days few times in a week? Example Evora 600PP by mondays... BMW M3 wednesdays.

I agree with Autoaki. Last few weeks we had the Evora Cup and the Ferrari Event at Suzuka and I noticed the amount of good races dropped significantly. Now with the Evora being sort of competitive in the RWD PP600 cup, I personally don't feel anything for a separate Evora Cup. I'd rather have all the good drivers concentrated in one cup 👍

Have you tested it with 600PP and S2's? Any chance to being competitive in Custom-event? One of my favorites when I have time to start finding good vehicle to that event.

It's not going to be the Evora, but a different car. ;) And we want to keep the events filled, hence the poll. :) But perhaps we can limit the new Cup event to specific days and drive in the Custom Event the other days?
 
If your going to make a one make race event why limit it to 600PP?

You already have a control tyre with the S2, so to make all the cars perfectly equal in performance why not add max power and minimum weight settings.

This would also have the added benifit of giving people just that little bit more PP

BMW M3 606PP
Lexus IS F 631PP
Cappo/Tuned 640PP (full downforce)
TVR Tuscan 617PP
Suzuki Cervo 453PP

There are loads more but i've tried to go for a mixed bunch

I agree with the specific day idea, gives those of us that cannot race every night something to look forward too, and still feel part of the GTP community:tup:

What's that you say "there's something on my nose" ;)
