Since most have qualified already, I was hitting 130R going 145mph sometimes with good runs coming out of spoon with my downforce set to 16/50, and using less front downforce makes the rear less likely to come out under braking and during acceleration. My final pp is only 558. Maybe some can use this to their advantage for future races. :D

Is it now too late to qualify? I couldn't make it earlier... Had to go with family, away from a PS3. I would understand you stewards not to allow me in this week though.
 
Well we extended quali. Till midnight EST. So that's about 40 minutes away.

Don't worry about coming in last minute. I'll vouch for you, I know you're clean.

I'm at work right now so hopefully Mule or Stig can watch you. Try PMing them or adding them to PSN if you haven't already.

I let myself get distracted by that ridiculous pop-up way too easily.

Lost a second on my first lap, then crashed and spun on my second when Dapper and Cami came in.

I'm lucky I even qualified...

Regardless, quali is over. We'll get the results posted in a few minutes.

Dude we just ran a couple practice races - the draft is OVERWHELMING :dopey: First race EVERY one of us had amishap on lap 1.

If your name is in red, that means you didn't qualify. However! You can still race in the B-room tomorrow. The winner of the B-race will recieve an automatic entry into next weeks race, regardless of how they qualify. Because there's only 6 people, though, I'm going to make it half distance (18 laps).

If you have an "x" beside your name, that means I have checked your car, and it's good as of writing. I know a couple of people have put their cars online, and I'll get to checking them right now.

For live updates on that, you can look at the spreadsheet anytime.

Thinking about taping something over that area of my screen. Hahaha yea anyway there needs to be only one line or two clear down lower left when on track Not an 1/8 of the screen used for unwanted chat box while racing.

To add to this -

If you didn't get the chance to qualify and would STILL LIKE TO RACE - you may join the B room at the back of the pack. Keep in mind that if you win you do get that automatic berth come next week :)
 
Just a reminder: It is a long race! And if the draft puts you in the position to pass another driver that doesn't mean making the pass is the best thing to do... more passing=slower lap times, then people behind catch up. :D

Exactly, Dapper. Anyone who raced in the Miatas or Integras will know that working together, and bump drafting is key.
