me too Toronado, I'm absolutely pants at the 206 cup, still haven't done it!!

If you have the cash, get the 206 Rally Car and redo it. You can leave it stock.

And don't be afraid of the points you get :sly:

Darn Canyon Reverse (or is it Grand? lol) - 1 point (IB license required I think)

... and I still can't beat that thing. I'm awful close to give up and break out the GameShark.

Finally bit the bullet and bought the 206 rally car!! creams the 206 series and is a damn fine car for the ice rallys, i'm finally getting through some of them at last!!

A little off topic - I know, but - I used the Dodge RAM to try for MAX points in that race and found it helped. It was still tough but the size of the truck and using Nitrous allowed me to get in front and stay there. I think it is probably tougher in a smaller faster car (i.e; the 1 pointers) because the competition can go around you more easily after rear-ending you and giving you the dreaded 5-sec penalty.

:sly:

Well just off the top of my head, I seem to have that problem with the rally races. I really disagree with the 5 sec. penalty.

10pts. Tour de france. I was with a clio sport v6 phase2, stock (no oil tricks, to tires change...) and couldn't pass the renault 5 turbo on the last track (cote d'azur) for 2 seconds
Did that again but with qualification, and won with 5 seconds over the clio sport v6 24v phase1

I finally beat it! The trick? Used the Dodge RAM, and borrowed an old DF wheel. After the very beginning I never saw the other car again.
