LS7 on a Fairlady S30 - has anybody done it or seen it?

why would anyone want to put anything else but Japanese engine in this? VK56DE will be more than enough for car light as this. the space could be an issue though, but AFAIK, 240/280Z have more room in their engine bay than 300ZX's do.. explains why VK engines are quite common swap for these cars.
 
Eh, a SBC's easy to find and cheap to build around here. That's about it.

I personally feel the Nissan route's the way to go, but I also know that you can get similar results out of a smallblock for less money.
