M3 GTR Racing Car at nordsleife. How fast?

I would like to know how fast you out there has driven the nurburing nordsleife with this fantastic car!?

Everything is allowed !

I think it's possible with 5.40-5.45, but are still at 5.50.877.

and how is your settings ?

I've managed a 5:56 so far. Yes, I expect 5:40's possible, I know of a few guys on the PS2 forum who could get it.

I'll keep trying :D
 
I did a 5'48.191 :) I was on track for a 5'45 through the first half of the lap but didnt quite nail the second half.
 
Now down to 5'52. Was on for a 5:49 maybe but blew it all on one corner.

I now think some of the best in the world could get into the high 5:30's. Very difficult though.
 
5'48.191 , nice time ! -what's your top speed at the long straight, and the setting for camber/toe???

Sad it's not my track time. But I'll be back, I hope!

My top speed down the straight was 205MPH and my cambre and toe angles were the default settings - Cambre: 2.0/1.0 - Toe: 0/0

What gearing did you use?
And did you turn the Traction control all the way off?

I've been on for your time but keep loosing it on the fast bumpy corners.
 
My Gear Ratio Auto Settings are set to 15 and my Driving Aids are set like this
ASM (Oversteer): 1
ASM (Understeer): 3
TCS Controller: 1

Interesting.

I turned everything off. Maybe I try like you, the bumpy bits spin the car easily at 160mph. I used auto setting 14 and stretched 6th gear abit.

The suspension settings seem to confuse me more than help so I leave them to default.

Good time mate, I will beat it one day :D

5'42.288

A 5'3x.xxx is definetly possible for me and the "top" guys would be deep into the 5'3x's.

Don't know if that will interest anyone here. It doesn't seem to play very well on my laptop. I have damn spyware on it so it's running slow.:grumpy:
 
BTW i didnt use any NOS.

I dont use it unless i "have" to.

I will try to get in some more sessions, but its very tricky to drive flat out on the limit. If i can get lucky a 5'39 is waiting :D
 
5.42.288 is very fast. My study don't allowe me to drive so often I would like too, but I think I'm more a "man with hat" driver when people like Small_Fryz are joining the race!

I will try different settings and maybe the school could tak it more easy..........?!

Australian people are a little bit strange, because where else do people set Guinness record in Longest distance driven in one year with a car?! -they took the record with an Opel/Holden Record 2.0 S 1986 model and the driving team drove more than ca 586 000 km. Ithink you find this record in the G.book from 1986-1987-1988.

When I was in settings I changed the altered the stage tune(don't ask me why I did it) and when I put it back to stage 3 my power was down 60 Hp:confused: Can't get it back to 680 now:mad:

Don't know where I won the car to now.
 
Try an oil change, and make sure you have the turbo fitted? or was it NA...

hmmm, I took a oil change now just to check and I got 712 HP ! (turbo stage 4).

I did this to one of my cars once, I ended up having to sell it and get a new one. I think the M3 GTR Race Car is won in one of the BMW events.

Mine has a max of 726BHP by the way.

:irked: Bloody hell, no wonder I couldn't beat your time. The most I've ever got the Horse Power to was 681, that included the oil change :confused:

I've just changed the oil again and it still down at 644. Gonna have to sell it and win another one :banghead:

This is the trouble in GT mode, getting the same level playing field.
 
Won a new GTR and got it to the 726 hp.

Have now got down to 5:41. Was on for the 39 but blew somehow lost it:confused:


I'll post a vid of my run when I do a 5:39. May not be for a while :boggled:

5.36 is good. I just say;

RESPECT

This is just one exampel that online racing where miliones of people world wide compare against each other will give us the best race fights ever, where the best drivers will appair and give us a better race show than the real(some time in the future), because you don't have to be rich if you want to race at Grand Turismo!
I don't think the best drivers in the world are the people that are racing on the tracks around the world, in F1, WRC......etc etc!

OK. Let me explain what I ment;

How many people can afford to race from their 6-10 years old til around 18-20 years old where they can get any living out of it ?
If you find the number of people in the world that have the chance to get enough training at the track, you will see how small this would be! I have a huge respect for those who race at the top level and they are VERY good indeed, but the "membership" price you have to pay to get good enough is so high.

The talent's don't show up like in fotball !
 
i made a 6.02 with all the stock suspension settings and super soft tires
 
I made a 6'51.464 i suck got any tips to race nordsleife?
