Coming on the weekend of November 19-22 is this great extravaganza of racing on the tricky confines of Macau. This is going to be a punishing event for sure, as always. That includes cars and motorcycles. So I've hosted this thread for this wonderful event.

Anyone looking forward to this event or even going to it?

I love watching this event on tv, I'd love to see more street circuits.

Jenson Button came 2nd when he was there in 1999

Any idea who's taking part this year?

Speaking of motorcycles, they also race motor scooters in this event. No surprise if that's on the slate for this year as well. ;)

Funny you mentioned scooters because I looked up YouTube, and one of the Related Videos for my latest video, "Why Should You Care: Macau Grand Prix" had some kind of scooter race event. Only racing scooter I know of is the Yamaha T-Max. Perhaps from playing Tourist Trophy too much...

I've found some scooter racing around the Macau course, but I couldn't find one with great sound quality. As best as I can find, here's an example:

i'm really looking towards it, because the wtcc is going to be there with the championships still open. in the normal and privateer(with the dutch tom coronell in the lead)
it's going to be a really spectacullar end of a insane championship already.

Thank goodness. Great safety features in Macau, even though it is a street circuit otherwise that could have been so much different
