I just purchased this after accidentally purchasing the incorrect momo wheel. Not willing to shell out the almost 20 more for the other momo (red one) i decided to turn to Mad Catz. They have a wheel, can rest on your lap and are MADE for PS2 and other systems and include a shift knob. Having examined both wheels I am happy with my mad catz purchase...seeing as how I only have PS2 right now, I bought the PS2 specific version (same as universal one, just for PS2, same features, 20 dollars less) for 40 dollars! It is great, it has a LED that shows how hard ur pressing on the pedal, the pedals themselves are very lifelike, and i am very picky about pedals. The momo OF COURSE has the better wheel, but the mad catz, being made for video games, has a better gt3 interface
All in all, I would recommend the Mad Catz to anyone who isnt willing to shell out the money for the momo force, but if u have money for the momo force, go for it
 
Plus, there is a button to calibrate the wheel right on the wheel and it shows on the light display also, you choose how sensitive the wheel is, and how large its range of motion, pretty neat

Im trying sum driftin as soon as I get off of here =)
 
thats a blower, i got one that works with all...i jus drifted my s15 aero-r and DAMN! To all who dont have a wheel...u are NOT drifting...this is amazing, finally being able to countersteer or steer towards the corner if it tries to correct just...wow....listen to people when they say you need a wheel, its brings more realism, more fun, and just makes drifting...well...it makes drifting drifting
 
Thats why I like the mad cats! It has things that come down over the sides of ur legs so nuthin stuck in between ur legs! its comfy n fits pretty big legs...im 6'1 and 220 lbs, and fat lol - so it shud fit most legs comfortably
 
I got the Logitec. There both good. BNut i like the logitec better with the FF. and It givs realism to the whole game!
 
Do you have 80 dollars or 40? If you have 80 get the logitech FORCE from justdeals . com, CHEAP STUFF, reliable, and the things are factory re-certified, so thats why the drop in money, and 40 for the mad catz....the mad catz has an easier interface, the momo force has a more realistic wheel feel....id recommend the mad catz if u have NO pc games for the momo
 
how much was it $$$?? i have been wanting a wheel ever since i saw gran dorifto.:D :D and also seeing the potentials in other drift videos i would really like one.:D
 
the universal madcatz (works for all systems) is 60.00 and the PS/PS2 version is 40!!!!!!!!! Shifter, wheel, and pedal....all very nice...id recommend it just because of the price and all the features!
 
Yes i own it - its great, the pedals are nice, n the shifters nice cuz its larger than the momo, n ima big guy and yea - just lotsa nice features - id recommend it
 
I heard that the logitech line is the best. I currently drift with out a wheel but I am considering the Logitech. I have heard negative feedback from people about the mad catz wheel. :confused: which one should I pick.
