@MeanElf It should just be in your car body (garage in main menu) once you unlock a few things at Jeets Stronghold it suddenly turns up 👍 The bonnet ornaments are locked until you find them. @imported_rik19 You can enter the thirstcutter race at anytime just drive over there :cheers:

Have been eye to eye with Scrotus for the first time so I have the impression my main storyline is going into the closing stages. Really like what I have played so far but oh boy there are so many things on the map :eek: Haven't cleaned out any big camp in gastown but when you enter there it is...busy....;) What I can say is that when you start doing missions in Gastown the map will tell you if you build Max to a certain level and if you permitted to enter. When you guys have done a bunch of side missions already and cleaned out those big camps there is no worry. If you go over the map you will see also the little camps. Hover over them to see if they add something to improve your hideouts. The one that are handy are fuel, munition and the scrap collectors. The rest I haven't build in any of the hideouts yet.

Build an archangel for a certain mission. Still no V8 but it goes like a rocket!

Do you guys miss the shutterspeed options as well?

Btw: for those who have doubts about the handling model: the handling of your Magnum Opus will greatly improve once you find the upgrades for the suspension and tires 👍 In the beginning it's floaty but later on it grips.

@doblocruiser Great tips and photos by all, I think I will be a while yet still trying to clear all of Jeets but it says I have more camps, snipers in each area but not on map, I think I will move on to Gutgash soon as Jeets is now on 1 and low now. I believe I will get my monies worth out of this game, I would say the main game is more than 10-12 hours will be more like 30-50 hours of gameplay + the same on photomode and driving about (for me anyway)👍

Yes I should actually. Have been neglecting that pretty much. Did a bit in Jeet's territory but I still have more to go. I first want to finish the main mission. I simply want to find out how it ends. After that I'll pick up the dog for some more mine-finding :D

I even haven't taken out all the convoys on every route and those are great fun as well 👍
 
@imported_rik19 Looks like you drove over one like i did :lol: If buggy doesn't repair best going back (fast travel) and try again or different mine. You get out once the dog makes a whine not a bark and you see the red marker, not easy to see them but just slowly keep driving round until he starts yapping more frequent.

@doblocruiser How do I get through this gate do I have to complete more of gutlash before it will let me as I have cleared the area and the watch tower. Tried everything to open the gate..any help again appreciated :bowdown:

You will need to take it down through a main story mission (green / blue dots and exclamation marks) The purple ones are not related to the mainstory line as far as I can tell and I think you will need as @MeanElf said a certain harpoon level as well.

Checked it -> you need the Thunderpoon (explosive) and you'll obtain all by following the main story line.

I think if you focus on them you also unlock areas in already explored parts that are simply not accessible before. I decided to try to stay on the main storyline and do the additional exploring and photoshooting afterwards ;) Doesn't go completely to plan neither :lol:

From what I've seen, you can get stuff like the explosive harpoon with a lot of scrap, so getting the project for scap collection sorted as well the survey one will give you more things to explore and help you get kitted up sooner. As @doblocruiser said in a past post, hover your pointer over each of the camps and salvage points available and they'll tell you if a project part is there or not. Hope that helps.

I now have the scrap project set up and taken out most camps-now taking a little break of the game before I take on the Gutgash terriority.


^^ Any tips helps me cheers @MeanElf & @doblocruiser - I have again got distracted by the photomode more than the game :sick:and not progressing as fast as I would like. I have also been on Pcars and Dirt rally recently which I have neglected over the year to catch up on a few races in between.

I really like the filters..Burnt Pola and 70's Roadtrip are my faves along with all the overlays.

On a positive note about my photos, Avalanche Studios 'liked' & 'retweeted':bowdown: my last tweet which is nice to know they are watching the community photos 👍

I see the red crosses as well for both your sets. If I click on them Flickr shows them correctly. I think it's a technical issue. If you edit the post the pictures show.

This evening I have finished the main story 👍 It was a pretty cool ride and the good thing is that the game allows you to continue with your Magnum Opus and Chumbucket to explore the wasteland further and doing wasteland missions and the usual stuff. It also means that you will be able to even further enhance the Magnum Opus :D
