Universal MC2™ Racing Wheel and Pedals::

The Universal MC2 Racing Wheel is simply the most realistic racing wheel on the market, and the last you will ever need to purchase -- even if you change game systems. The MC2 is compatible with PlayStation2, Xbox, GameCube, PS one and Playstation consoles. Wrap your hands around the rubber-grip wheel, extend the retractable leg supports, drop your foot onto the pedal and hang on. Vibration feedback adds realism while the Accudrive system lets you tune the wheel sensitivity to fit your personal driving preferences.

MSRP:: $59.99 US

Features:

Compatible with Xbox, GameCube, Playstation 2 and PS one
Retractable leg supports put you in the driver’s seat and keep you there
Vertical vector design means when you throttle up, the pedals won’t take off
Double injected steering wheel with rubber coating is specially designed to provide optimal vibration feedback
10 High-performance action buttons provide superior control

Thats off the MadCatz Site

So Is This worth buying?
for $50. Cdn.?

I've got the older, PSX version. It handles OK. Not sure how it compares to the new universal version.

It's definitely nothing compared to the Logitech one though.

If I were you, I'd wait for the new Logitech wheel that is gonna be bundled with GT4. BUt if you want a wheel now, go for the Logitech Driving/GT Force. If you want something more expensive, maybe the Momo (Force?) wheel that Logitech also makes.

I want somthing cheap.
The MadCatz is $10 bux more than how much i bought my FIFA 2003. :) So its damn cheap. It's the cheapest wheel that i know of. www.madcatz.com has alot of information stating how could it is and etc.
I'm thinking of waiting for the GT4 Combo. That will do for sure. I just want a wheel, a stick shifter and pedals.

based on my experiences madcatz products are ****. they are cheap plastic crap that they try and make cool. they fail within a year.

if you want a really good wheel get the momo force at newegg.com for $110. maybe ebay has it cheaper, but newegg has top notch service. if you want something cheaper, look at the other logitech wheels. i suggest staying away from the momo "racing" wheel though. it doesnt work with gt3 and is worse quality than the momo force for a bit cheaper.

the momo force is the older wheel. it is the one that is better quality. it is usb. i think it might be made for the pc, but works with some ps2 games, including gt3. the momo racing wheel replaced the momo force. it is cheaper and worse quality. it is made for pc also, but is supposed to work with some ps2 games as well. it does NOT work with gt3 though.
