A home for us GTPlanet Enthusiasts to discuss our Connected Careers Mode Pursuits, Ultimate Team Players and Online Gameplays as I do not believe there is a thread yet.

Of course, we could even start an Online Connected Careers Mode and we could do a lot more community based activities if we get the interest.

Please be wary of giving out spoilers with regards to Draft Pick Choices and Storyline Players

Current Season: 2012
Current Record: 5-7 (4-game winning streak)

Player Trades:
1. Traded Laurent Robinson for a 4th Round 2013 Pick
2. Traded Rashean Mathis for a 2nd Round 2014 Pick
3. Traded Terrence Knighton and a 2nd Round 2014 Pick for Rob Gronkowski and Kyle Hix
4. Traded Blaine Gabbert and a 4th Round 2013 Pick for Tim Tebow
5. Traded Marcedes Lewis for a 4th Round 2013 Pick

Injury Report: Daryl Smith (4 weeks), Dawan Landry (3 weeks)
Team Strengths: 1st in DEF, 32nd in OFF (lol)
Team Weaknesses: Tebow's interceptions, Very little WR separation and no depth at DT.

We beat the Colts away in our first win with 4 takeaways where we also lost Gronkowski and we stalled to 1-7. We were blown-out by the Bengals and Packers. The Bengals are mighty in their secondary in my league and Rodgers just walked all over me. We finally got Gronk back for the second Colts game and we're firing up again. Our wideouts can't get any separation in man-to-man schemes and Gronkowski and Zach Miller have been my best offensive weapons outside of MJD. Mincey is having a mighty season but we're lacking at DT after off-loading Knighton.

In the 2013 Draft, I'm looking at a DT in the first, CB in the second for now. I'm looking at FA for wide-receivers and MLBs in case Posluszny gets injured. I might take a stab at QB but as of late Tebow has given us 8 TD passes in our last 4 games with 2 interceptions. He's 12-20 for the season. I'll probably focus on developing Tebow for now.

As of making the play-offs. We're 3rd in my division but the wild-card spots are currently at 7-5 teams in the Steelers and Ravens I believe. So we're going to need to win-out to make it and need some luck along the way.

In the off-season, I'm looking at trading for Stephon Gilmore as I doubt I can get Cromartie. I'm looking at man-man coverage schemes and he fits really well into that for me. I'd also like a 3rd-down back in Chris Ivory or Baron Batch. Rashad Jennings is producing over 4 YPC but he's weak insurance for MJD.

I'd definitely be open to a league. Hope that happens as I only have one buddy that plays madden on ps3.
Just started a new connected career as the coach of the Giants (usually play as the Colts). So just had a close loss to Dallas in game one. Chase Blackburn and Ahmad Bradshaw injured for a couple weeks.
 
Well I have Madden 13 but not for PS3 sadly. I've had a lot of fun with it. I'm looking forward to some of your experiences:)
 
I'll join a league, as long as I can play as either my beloved Packers or a medicore AFC team (Like, say, the Browns), and if we use some custom gameplay sliders that actually makes the running game, you know, matter.

I actually have the 360 version. One of my good friends has it and wanted someone to play it with. Haven't played it for quite some time though.

It feels like they sacrificed content for better graphics, which aren't that great (as far as player models and gameplay is a bit sporatic). The PS2 versions felt more in depth however since 2010 all titles have started to die.

Ya I agree with you there. My favorite NFL game so far is still ESPN 2K5 back on PS2

Awesome. We'll see if we can garner enough interest.

I'm not sure on the settings yet but we can work this stuff out.
