Does anybody have a digital subscription to a normally-print magazine? (E.g., Car and Driver.) Once I’m on a broadband connection, I’d like to consider switching to a digital subscription (don’t have to worry about where to store your back issues, fires/earthquakes, have every issue on your laptop anywhere you go, plus instant searching), but I’d like to hear others’ experiences with digital, especially with the Zinio Reader software.

Sorry for late bump, but. Blah, I hate that software, just IMO it doesn't work good for me. And the fact that I like some glossy pages I can throw on my coffee table to stare at while wasting my time seems better than reading it on a screen, but that's just me.
 
I have subscriptions to Autosport and F1 Racing. I used to subscribe to What Hi-Fi? as well, but that one lapsed, and I wasn't minded to renew it. Now I've decided that it's just depressing as I can't afford to buy new kit all the time, so I don't even buy it. I have restarted buying Practical Photography though, and may subscribe to it.

I buy evo and Autocar if there are things in it that interest me.

With regard to reading stuff on the internet, my print subscription to Autosport gets me a digital subscription also. This just saves me time, as I don't bother to read the print news in the magazine. I've already read it on the web site. But there are a lot of in-depth articles in the magazine that are not on the site, and I enjoy reading those.

I'm considering dropping my F1 Racing subscription as it's becoming increasingly irritating to read.
 
I have a subsription to Evo (Now 13 issues a year for no extra cost :D... so far).

My dad used to get Empire alot which I usually read, but he doesn't get it so much now.
 
Maxim, Stuff, and FHM are the main ones. Basically anything with hot women and things to make me laugh is good in my opinion. No subscriptions through as most of the time I read them from free at work, so I only buy the odd one.
 
Honda-Tuning is the only magazine I purchase every month. I've picked up Sport Compact Car and some others on occasion, when they've got articles that interest me.

Out of curiosity, what in particular do you dislike about the software?

And I much prefer hard copies myself (even the best monitors still have crummy DPI compared to the worst printers), but I’m wondering how I’ll eventually deal with so many years of C/D magazines, and I also like the convenience of instant searching. Right now I have to keep my own cataloging system – whenever an issue of C/D has a Road Test Digest, I note that issue on a notecard. Then, when I want to look up a car, I take a guess at which year I should start with, and then work from there. Rather involved process.

Unfortunately, i dont have a subscription to any of those :( I just read them at book stores or the library
