Something I noticed was the Schumi's trap speed at the end of the start/finish straight was 301 Km/h whereas most of the other runners were between 304-309 Km/h. So, either Schumi's not that light on fuel or he's got a lot more downforce than the others (which isn't very likely since they'll all be at very high levels of downforce).

The new tires are paying out for Schumacher and Ferrari in general. I bet he wins it, if his tires can hold out. They didn't last race, and lost a position to Fisi because of it.

Renault has problems, so I don't see them making a podium finish for the third time this season. Oh well, at least Alonso will score some points. I don't know about Fisi, since he placed 9th. Lordy, lordy.

Still, it going to be an interesting race. Can't wait for 24 hours.

!. M. Schumacher.
2. Montoya
3. Kimi
4. Trulli
5. Alonso
6. Barrichello
7. Fisi
8. R. Schumacher

Go MS.

I hope Ferrari start finding their feet so next year it can be 3 - 4 manufacture battle instead of 2.

I think the trouble will be for everybody to pass Trulli. I think Montoya, if he doesn't have any problems, can take 1st.

Holy cow those bridgestones must be doing a good job at long last, almost a second ahead jesus. Kimi done well considering he was out first aswell

i just hope jensen doesnt screw up like his sorry ass likes to do and that sato drives well like i know he can.

Jenson's recent form has been good, nothing like last year but still hes now doing better than schumacher isn't he? Sato needs to start to get his act together if he wants to end the speculation of him being repleced for next year.

jensen is turning it around now and even wants to keep driving for bar but as far as i care hes still a backstaber (until he wins a ton.)

sato is a very good driver he just doesnt have the luck. just look how good he did in france. i thought he did very well even though he had problems. it would be sad to see him go even for rubens (haha right.)

Sato is almost inconsistant as a merc engine and he is prone to some silly mistakes, Jenson has prob won alot of fans for trying to stick with BAR but then from the williams point of view hes an even bigger backstabber than before!!!

jensen is a little prick its as simple as that. he can drive but whats that matter if your an asshole? hes got a good looking woman though...

sato is a very good driver though. you are right he does make mistakes and isnt reliable but if you look into what he has done if he gets the chance to be in F1 a few years from now he could very easily be the world champ.

But BAR dont really want to wait for him to mature and become smarter, they hoped he would have done that by now, but he hasnt im afraid, expect him at a team lower down the grid next season, thats all im saying...

there is a good chance of that and i would be very sad. if they do that they will be sorry later though. honda might not want to see him go just because hes japanese but that dont mean crap sadly.

i think he has come a ways though and that he can make it work. if hes there next season things will be much better.

jensen can go for all i care. send him to williams. they wont mean crap just like jordan and minardi and to an extent red bull racing.

To replace sato? i'd go for either Davidson, Barrichello or possibly Hiedfeld (he might want BMW though)

And yeah jenson can be a tit sometimes but his racing style matches the BAR exacatley, I would be surprised if BAR dont try everthing they can to keep him

there are 3 problems with that though. rubens wont leave ferrari, heidfeld probably wants bwm and bwm for sure wants him because hes german, and didnt sato whoop davidsons ass in the past?

i just have to say its funny how tit is a bad thing to you guys. just had to say that... here in america tits are great...

but all joking aside button can stay if he likes. he can give honda some wins but i doubt he can win the world championship ever.

Hmmmm it will be hard for him especially since he is round the same age group as Alonso and Raikkonen, hes bound to come close and you never know... who expected liverpool to win the champions league? Miricles can happen...

i actually like sato quite a bit, reminds me of JPM. he tries to make things happen in cars not designed to pass anything. not completely his fault, the guys a racer through and through. i think once the new regulations come in and the cars are much more pass friendly hell become a top dog in f1, if he still has a decent ride at the time.

and as for dustbowl 2005, JPM and MS on the front row outta be interesting. hopefully JPM can get him at the first corner and just run away from the field. and im glad to see ferrari finally *looks* to have gotten it together as its more points for alonso to lose asuming the merc stays together.

sato has big balls and more guts then a 600lb man in mc donalds in a speedo.

thats the only reason hes not doing well. hes aggressive which makes him a great driver but luck just isnt on his side. its a double edged sword. if he made it all stick he'd be a hero. he hasnt had the good fortune so now his job may be at risk.

Completely off-topic i know but whilst we are on about BAR they need to sort their sponsors out. Fast. They are racing without the sponsor's logos this weekend due to the anti-tobacco EU legislation

Who are they? :dopey:

I know it seems silly on BAR's account right now but soon we might just see a ferrari with Marlboro sponsoring

Toyota's pace shocked me. I still think they will fall of in the race. I must say their pace, after the dismal German GP, shocked me quite a bit. Good to see Trulli in a Saturday press room.

Ferrari and MS. I think it is a fake pole. MS wants the pole record and the car went out stupidly light. Even if it isn't very light they tires are going to give up mid race. Bridgestones have never been strong in high heat.

I expect Kimi to either chase MS for the early part of the race or flat out beat him into the first corner and run away with it. JPM will challenge for 2nd. MS may pull out a 3rd or 4th.

Haha. Marlboro said, "Hey, we'll just mispell our name to avoid the rules. It'll be like 50% advertising, at least."

Remember kids, Marlboro. Oh yeah, that...and don't smoke.

Are you serious? Sato will never be a world champ. He isn't a Michael, he isn't a Kimi, he isn't an Alonso, he isn't a Montoya, he isn't world championship material.

If Michael keeps 1st into the first corner he'll have a decent chance of winning it. I'm not sure if he will though.

Predictions
JPM
MSC
Kimi
Button

Sato is not going to be a F1 racer next year. He's lousy.

You're not confident in the Bridgestone tires on the car of MS, are you? I'd like to see what happens first myself, but I made the call that the tires will hold up. The fellas behind the desk were saying a lot of good, interesting things about those tires. Of course, it could have all been a bunch of PR, commercialize BS, but we'll see.
