I'm totally taping the start the next time it comes on. I can't believe I missed Klein.

DO A BARREL ROLL!

not only is second place the first loser but you either win or wreck it. thats what i say.

Well that's some stupid reasoning for ya. Stupid when applied to F1, anyway. second place is stilling winning. you only lose when you don't score points for yourself and for your team. Wrecking instead of finishing is the worst thing of all. There goes a whole bunch of valuable information you could've recorded. Was this not Red Bull's first time at hungary? Oh well...

it wasnt red bulls fault they crashed out at the start. it is however any other teams fault if they hang back like wusses just because they want to make sure they get a point. if you think you can do something do it. if it doesnt work out oh well. sure it is stupid to say that about f1 but with the way things are now days it almost makes sense.

I think it was nice for Toyota and Williams to come in the points. Man, the Speed coverage was horrible.

to hell with reason i want to see some racing. i like attrition. i'm not saying be stupid but i am saying just because you have doubts dont let yourself not try it out. there really are no limits other then the ones you set for yourself.

There's a fine line between being brave and being stupid, though. The drivers are professionals. The best in the world. It's the rules and regulations that dictate the lack of passing more than anything.

What, you think people should be like De La Rossa was in Bahrain, make dives that will never work and lose 5-6 seconds because of it? This isn't F3 or something where you can just make a dive almost anywhere, these cars are expensive and the aerodynamics makes it almost impossible to get close enough to pass.

These guys are racers, they'd pass if they could.

My point exactly. The managers are a better judge of 'bravery' than any of us are. They are more than competent enough to be able to recognize a driver who is habitually lackluster, and if any drivers aren't brave enough, they'll be fired.

In other words, it's not something you should really worry about. They're doing their best given their situation and circumstances.

we wont get into how good de la rossa did and saying something is to expensive to race isnt a very good excuse.
How good de la Rossa did? He was fast, he overtook one person, maybe two, on a course that has a relatively easy overtaking spot, other than that he outbraked himself about 4 times.

I'm not saying he did a bad job, but he drove like an excited little puppy, losing in the region of 20-30 seconds because of it. He was very entertaining to watch but it did him no good in terms of his finishing position.

he sure did better then the litle come back kid at sauber is doing thats for sure. his battle with rubens was very interesting. i do think he was a bit to hard on it but not much.

So, as I predicted Alonso can run foul of lady luck and it's made the championship closer. Of course it helped that Kimi came first and scored a full 10 points, 2 more races like that and he could be leading. It does seem to shut up the people who were stating that Alonso had won the championship already!!!!

I don't understand why Button is being called a p**** in this forum, OK he needs to sort out where he will be driving next year and he could cause a lot of bad feeling trying to stay with BAR after trying to leave for Williams earlier this year, but he's just trying to get the best drive for the next season. Personally I think he should go with Williams, next season could be there year and he will kick himself if he didn't take the chance when it was presented to him. It's about time they had a revival.

next season wont be their year though. not only is the chassis a mid field chassis but with the new engine they will have a learning curve they will need to overcome in order to do better.

Hence why he really needs to stay at BAR

Even if Button goes i believe Davidson could nick Satos seat...

No, he doesn't need to sort out where he's going, he needs to shut up and go to Williams like his contract dictates. Williams has made deals etc. based on the fact that Button would be driving with them, Button can't just say "Oh, I can drive a better car than yours so I'm going to ignore our contract". He must race with them. I know he's threatening to not race at all next year, but that won't do anyone anygood.

They should really sort this out after the season has ended, we havent hardly touched on the fact tht raikkonen is now only 26 points behind! With McLaren possibly being strong on 3 of the last 6 tracks (i'll take a stab at turkey, spa and china) the championship is really gonna be close.

For now lets just drop the Button Vs Williams thing and just get back to the F1!

:D

no idea. i'm not a jordan fan. i would be but there even worse on a constant basis then bar has been this year. i was thinking about the next few years though when they become midland. i wonder if they can move up in the ranks again.

Yes, Monteiro has finished every race this year and continues to break the record of consecutive finishes for a rookie every race.

I doubt Midland will become competetive, they don't seem willing to put much money into the team.

Sorry going back to the Button thing again. I agree, he should stick with his contract, if he does decide not to drive next year then he may find that he loose the drive and never gets back into F1. It's called bitting the bullet...

Next year they may well have a different chassis which may well respond well with the engine they have making a very nice package. McLaren weren't anywhere special last year but this year they have the best package, OK reliability is poor but that is there only weakness. (OK JPM early on in the year but not so much now)

thats mclaren though. i forsee williams fighting for position with jordan and minardi for the next year at least.

i to doubt jordan will do much better but i would like to see them at least leave minardi in the dust.

Williams problem this year is that they brought the new wind tunnel in too early and the calculations from the scaled cars turned out to be completely wrong for the real size, so they've been playing catch up all year. I think they'll be better placed next year, maybe not winning, but I think podiums will not be out of the question next year (and I mean more than the occasional podium).

The rerun is on. I'm so taping that barrel roll.
