Main screen not loading properly

After updating to the newer update of GT5 and playing online ive been having issues with the main screen that gives the option of "Gt life" I think, "Arcade" and "Gt tv". Issue being that the selcetor cursor is not appearing i need to turn my ps3 off and back on again around 3 times. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues?

Next time you get it to actually work, go to options and clear you cache. It happened a few times to me but after clearing my cache, it stopped. #1 Problem solver: Clearing Cache, always try that on all problems.

Also, try being signed out when you start GT5. It could be loading news.
