I didnt really expect them, but i saw people talking about it so i thought I'd help them out if their dream that it'd come today :P
 
1.16 is available to download in Australia now.
 
Just downloading, anyone got to the install yet?? Just hoping it wont take ages.

I started the update and went to get a drink, the download and 50% of the second installation was already done by the time I got back, suprisingly quick for once.

Already playing it! Just kidding, I'm overseas and dont have my ps3 with me I guess I'll have to wait a few more weeks...
 
When you get to the preview screen of your new Mini VGT, it looks huge because the camera is zoomed in more than usual.

Midfield time of day settings are from 9:30 to 18:30, no night time option.

The Mini can have most settings adjustable, ride height is blocked out, no power upgrades available. It sounds similar to the RedBull Junior but is it's own unique sound.

Does that mean it uses the Red Bull/VIZIV VGT/Senna F3/Lotus 97T sound system? You know, the one that actually sounds like a car?

For those already playing, is Mid-Field based more like it was in GT2-GT3 or more like GT4?

Indeed. It's very detailed, more so than almost any other track in the game.

A shame the tarmac itself is very flat, a few bumps and bits of unevenness here and there could have added more character. Some corners are sharper than I remember, but it's a nice, fun, short lap.
 
Midfield is also great for taking photos with, especially with time of day and weather changes.

Not at my PC but have a look at the Inside Sim Racing channel on YouTube - it's got early release vids just gone up on the Mini at Midfield Raceway and at Nordschleife đź‘Ť:cheers:
