I came across a glitch that only seems to happen to certain cars at Mazda raceway Lugana Seca, this only applies to B-spec (200mile enduro) and so far only consistently happens to 1 of the 4 cars i have raced there.(will test more) ..When its time to pit, bob will enter the pits either to fast or not accurately enough... he then bumps the wall, teleports 1 foot backwards and continues to drive to the pit lane... this is where it goes wrong...after the pitcrew do their job the driver waits in the pitbox for 10-15 seconds then drives off.... every single lap after that the driver wants to pit no matter what... fresh fuel, rubber or driver it doesn't matter and every pit the driver will experience the same 10-15 second pause after the pitcrew are finished.... it isnt the end of the world you can keep cancelling the pit but because this is an endurance its a bit of a hassle, So my warning to everyone is check your driver can pit in the car your using be4 its to late.... im my case this glitch didnt kick in untill almost half-way

errr you sure he wasnt just sitting there because they were refuelling?

yep i tried putting no fuel in and still the pause, so i put a full tank in, the fueller takes forever... he then lifts the fuel canister out and still the 10-15 second pause,...... but that isnt the real problem, the problem is the driver want to pit every lap when it happens

the car was a Oullim Motors Spirra Prototype ‘04 4.6L V8 MR around the 1100kg mark

basically it was the fastest car(from my garage) i found that could go around Lugana Seca with the sports soft restriction and was posting better times then supercars and racecars(cant get the power to the ground)

Maybe the pit wall impact caused some fender damage that was repaired by the pit crew with duct tape during that first pit stop.:D

And then this duct tape keeps falling off during the subsequent laps, so the car gets black-flagged and has to pit again for more duct tape?

Endurance racing sounds interesting! I hope to get to it soon!

What kind of tires were you using? I have saw issues with Bob wanting to pit every lap to change tires if he has rain or intermediate tires equiped even if it is raining and of course if the pit strategy is set to put on rain or intermediate tires he will pit again on the next lap cause he wants different tires that he is not getting, give him hard med or soft and he will be off and race again. I have seen this even when it is raining on Lemans and Monza

What the F^&* are some of you on? Duct tape?!?! penalties?! neither of these are in the game. Seriously enduro's in GT5 are just like GT4 or any other GT game, just long races, with pit-stops. And if your being sarcastic I have news for you, there is no way to tell sarcasm through text, so you have to say if your being sarcastic or make it obvious.

I'm sorry if my duct tape comment was taken seriously, I thought the use of the :D smilie would make it clear that my post was a light-hearted take on Mig's pit stop troubles.

I have not reached level 25 myself, so I'm unable to test out my own cars to see if I could repeat the problem that Mig encountered. My best guess from my limited knowledge of how B-spec Bob behaves in GT5, is that Bob thought that pitting every lap was necessary since this was the instructions he was given or the track/tire conditions required it.

I hope we eventually learn more about this situation.

Actually it was quite obvious ...

I noticed a glitch on that race in A-Spec. Whenever I went to pit, the pit crew never appeared. I got new tyres and fuel, but there was nobody there to do anything. The car just sat there and magically got new tyres and a refuel.

I thought it was obvious.... it's ok.

LOL i liked the duct tape idea, i was using sports soft and it doesn't rain at lugana seca so it cant be that... at 1 stage i let bob pit 5 times in a row so tyre, fuel and driver all fine... the driver still had plently of strength and the pit strategy was turned off
